This is very helpful information. Upvoting the feature request too. Update: Where do i get the WPM Domain Service Account configuration tool?

I believe this is the same report I received from adatole a couple of months ago, whom I can't thank enough. And, the moment our NOC saw the report and me telling them to give us feedback for any suggestions or concerns, they went back to me with a lot of them. After a couple of hours tinkering and figuring out, it…

Until this one ("SD-WAN monitoring capability that spans multiple products") becomes a reality will I be ready to re-evaluate this product after NOT opting to renew this year.
-
This may be a good option but the Automatic Time Zone should be applicable to across the whole site, so whenever you check alerts, run a report or just adjusting the graphs. It makes the whole user experience much easier than NOT having one. Just my 2 cents.

John, I know this topic is way too old, but I guess, I would like to back the idea of nathan.hejnicki. I'm actually thinking, perhaps, if you can find a way to make all devices and interfaces already in NPM (meaning already being monitored) be available as an object in NTM, then it would make our maps better looking. Now,…

Hi dgsmith80, No not at all. And to give a little background to it, first I had to create 1 Custom SWQL query for each of the Server Tier that we have. Then, I had to do away with the "Acknowledge" link because our NOC preferred clicking on the alert name to check more information like previous SNow tickets or other…

I notice that column configuration are saved only for Admin users. If at all there is a need for adding new feature or edit the said feature, is to allow saving of column configurations at least for those who have Node Administrator rights.

This is entirely an amazing update, and perfect timing for our organization. We are trying to go against a lot of products, but these features came in the right moment. We have been working around a lot of SNMP traps lately, and these new dashboard features will add more value to NPM and Solarwinds as THE brand of choice.…

I hope this Feature gets implemented very soon. After migrating all our routers to VeloCloud SDWAN, our NTA just literally became useless. We no longer have any traffic coming in because of this limitation.
-
I am no longer renewing this module come Maintenance Renewal time. I'll wait till they are able to do something before deciding on reviewing this product again. I don't think this gets pushed through with development. There's just 2 of us waiting for it I guess.
-
Well, I had to put those 2 columns back for the reason that I can't find a way, just yet, how to present the Caption as links.
-
This update does not cover VeloCloud SDWAN Edge routers. To anyone who wants to help me bump this feature request up, make sure to vote this request: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/netflow-traffic-analyzer-nta/i/feature-requests/netflow-v10-monitoring-support-in-solarwinds-nta Frustratingly enough, there's…

I bet this post has already been answered. Please tick this post as "answered". Thanks

Will be trying this solution this coming weekend. Hopefully this does the trick.

I have tried this and is different from what I'm looking for. But, this certainly goes hand in hand with Application Templates so the owners get access ONLY to both Application and Node level that they are allowed to.
-
thanks for checking this out. I have the feeling that this is the case too. Let me check put it out there as a feature request just in case someone else in the forum want this. I'm throwing in another very useful feature would be to "View As" a different account just to see how Solarwinds looks using their account. This…

As I also recently needed to do this in my environment and being and EX-SCOM admin myself, I strongly agree with orioncrack's write-up. Discovery settings is one thing, but we are more into the automatic creation of RESOURCES under the SAM Application templates. Just like the Appinsight for IIS, where there is a component…
-
I sure agree to wluther's request, to allow us to set profiles (with more options like REGEX matching to interface types) of the interfaces we want to be automatically added upon RE-discovery. This alone is a big leap from what we currently have.

Hey Serena! Thanks for looking into this. In the end, we were able to clean up the 14K objects manually with all the thanks to our NOC who did a great job of cleaning them up 24x7 for a couple of days. But, for what it's worth, here is the ticket number: 00410774, which was eventually closed after a follow-up call from the…

Really helpful actually! Knowing the fact that I am not alone who experienced this just says I have not done something really wrong and it just happened for no apparent reason beyond our control.
-
Thanks. I was thinking this should be my last option, but given that you dove right into this suggestion tells me that there could be no other way but through SQL. Really appreciate the suggestion.

I just recently upgraded our Dev Environment to 2020.2 and was really excited to see the SwitchStacks for our 3850s. But it looks like the switch model is not included yet. Where do I exactly send the request for the switch model to be added?
-
@"jason.carrier" Here it is.
-
@"mesverrum" is completely right here. (How could he NOT be? LOL) But, have you tried clicking on the volume name? because when you do, this will bring you to the Volume Details page, and there you will be seeing the 'Alerts this object can trigger' for the volume.
-
This is absolutely very helpful. Saved me a bunch of time.

have you given a UnDP any thoughts on using? I have not used this in particular, but upon reading your concern, it UnDP comes to mind first.
-
The out-of-the-box integration is pretty straight forward and the link that lmcbuilder provided should be able to help. Although, in our environment, we had to go away from the auto-creation of tickets every time an alert triggers but rather we had to create our own modules for ServiceNow (based on REST api) and in…
-
I'm currently working on this topic. The goal is only to create tickets when an Alert is Acknowledged. There are some bugs left to it though, but for sure, it is only a matter of time that I get to clean all of them. In the meantime, sit tight. I will send updates as soon as I get it working properly. I am already done…

As much as I don't want to reply to my own question, SWQL-studio was the answer to my problem. Looks like everything you see in SQL, can also be found in SWQL-studio. Perhaps I can share my end product in Content Exchange when it becomes available.
