This is actually a very important network management feature that basically all of SolarWinds' other competitors have, and it's strange why SolarWinds hasn't implemented it for so long. I'm glad someone finally brought up this FR and look forward to SolarWinds adding this feature soon!

Yes, this feature is very useful. If I remove the port from UDT, then in IPAM this port will become (unk), which very much affects the view.

Indeed, it seems that this feature is immature, supports a limited range of alerts, and does not fully utilize all alert objects.
