I really don't get today's question. The first Pingdom DYK is: We just released a new version of the Pingdom API. Version 3.1 has improved security, simplified implementation, and maintenance. The 3rd word is "released". This makes all answers wrong.

Boooo...today's question is iffy. One possible answer probably shouldn't be there. It almost seems intentionally misleading.....

Idk how I got question 1 wrong. Managed to get question 2 correct but I agree with the others. These multiple choice questions are not fun.

Today's question is a "gotcha". Beware. I hate these kinds of questions because there is no benefit for SolarWinds or the Thwack user - we both lose because we learned nothing about the product featured in the question and we get no Thwack points.

I see. I see what you're saying but I don't typically just watch the videos and listen....then just select whatever they say. Out of habit, I typically look at the screen and make the selection that way. I still think the question could have been more clearly defined.....

Great write up! While I agree completely with everything said, I have to say that I've seen upper management NOT agree, or rather, not care. I have a friend who would agree completely with this and live by it, but sadly has been taken advantage of and treated badly by his current employer.

Thanks for the article. I find it interesting that the answer given on defining procedures, didn't really include anything about surveying support staff, in addition to the customer and sales.

I think everyone who has humility struggles with self doubt at times. I think the best perspective is to always be confident and willing to learn if you're able, and never assume you're always the smartest person in the room.
