Thanks.. Greg I know it will show the MACs for each interface. But my purpose is finding out whom the manufacturer of the device is. (E. g. Dell or Netgear) which is MAC specfic based on whomever made the device.

For the Distribution and Access layer we have 3750's for both layers. I used the Engineer's Toolset switchport mapper to get the up and down ports. But, now I need the approx. number of Dist and Access layer switches on my network.

Will the data display the Manufacturers MAC Address of each interface? Does this have the ability to scan L2 items?

How do I enable a Network scan? to retrieve the data, I think it would be best to scan the network and see what comes back.

I figured it out and used the NCM to create the report. I had to use Chassis ID instead of Serial to get the S/N!! Thanks to ALL for their help! :)

I have managed to find the information to create the report, but the serial number field will NOT populate.
