Hi Alterego, We are planning to upgrade, but it will take around two months. Don't we have any other option to do the application pool monitoring?

We are using SAM 6.0 and need to monitor application pool status in Win 2003 server. How can we do this?

I was having all those configured as you said, Now I did a rediscover and ESX host is getting listed under Vcenter after that. But I observered that the ESX status is showing as warning even though no servers hosted in it is having warning status. Is it anything wrong with it? However polling is happening correctly.

Hi aLTeReGo, I have added the ESX host using Poll for VMware option and its showing 'Polling through ESX directly'. But I am not able to change the polling to Vcenter as the Polling though Option is not getting activated when I select the ESX host.

Thanks aLTeReGo, In that case how can we get the actual value at the time of poll. We are facing issues in the application, that's why we decided to to monitor the process. It will be a great help to us if we are able to get the exact value.

You can generate a report using Report writer for Event Type like 1000, 1001 & 1002 which will tell you if any errors are there in alert triggering. If any email alerts failed it will be shown in this events. Another option is to check the ActionsExecutionAlert text document in C:\ProgramData\Solarwinds\Logs\Orion. Also…
