I'm a bit confused then about how NCM is retrieving configs then. If I look at the Cisco Command Template the DownloadConfig line is: <Command Name="DownloadConfig" Value="Show ${ConfigType}"/> So is it just capturing the result of the show command? On the Tippingpoint the correct show command would be: #show configuration…

So I was able to test this - and it looks like it is working as planned. Seems like a cumbersome system, but it's working.

Can I get at least a hint here? We don't have the resources to set up a test environment to mirror this, short of staff and time, and I really don't want to wait for the t1 to drop sometime to see if it works. We've got 13 branches like this, and the data center is much more complicated. Any input would be appreciated.

I was having the same issue - We have several routers with 2 ip's on the same interface, NCM had one and NPM the other. Once I got that sorted out they showed up fine.

Okay - So I re-ran the discovery and the servers, network gear, etc..showed up with correct machine types, interfaces, etc.. Nothing changed, except re-running the discovery, and having the Engineer's Toolset service started.
