Giving some attention as I started working in 2025.1 just to find this issue within 2 days of dealing with multiple dashboards needing to reuse dashboards. Also ran into funky issue that a copied dashboard is not available to use as a dashboard tab... going to check latest release notes if there were 'tweaks'.

We leverage NPM, SAM, and DPA data for most dashboards leveraging PerfStack.

Totally agree. We are revamping our alerts and getting rid of old items but having to see an action that is thought to be enabled but is actually disabled does get confusing especially as I will be on-boarding more power users who will think the actions are all active until they see it in the Action Manager.

Our business model for AWS is to have multiple accounts (100+) to accurately calculate billing for specific applications for business units. We will be cycling through keys to meet compliance requirements and being able to use IAM Roles would ease the transition versus having to update each account every xx days.
