  • You can but at the cost of loosing the important trunks interfaces do this instead, on each access interface other then the dot 1Q trunks no snmp trap link-status so the interface config for endpoint (not trunks) should look something like this switchport access vlan XX switchport mode access no snmp trap link-status…

  • NQA is the non-Cisco standard fro this, and is what is supported by the many other vendors such as HP. it is configured almost identity to Cisco IPSla, commands are almost the same. Please investigate adding support fro this
