I agree. Should be checkboxes. I do reporting on Group Availability and have groups based off priority (we don't care about everything 24x7 alerting, some stuff is business hours only). Update to my above comment. NPM 11.5 has dynamic dependency mapping! My much work of individually mapping children to parents is now void. If you're purely looking for syslog traffic, you do have the logging host statement in your ICX config, right? logging host X.X.X.X (the IP of your Solarwinds server or where you're running the logging agent) You may also need to have UDP 514 open to your collector in order to receive the syslog traffic.

We had the same issue initially and had to add the device type to NCM and it's OID using a template from customer support. Currently our shop is all Brocade ICX 6610s. What versions and what Solarwinds products are you running?
