Well I feel sheepish. I guess when I think of a hint I view it as a challenge NOT to take the hint and figure something out on my own. But there it is. When I click the hint link, I see all the info I need. Thanks Brett!

This really needs to be done. I have used four or five other monitoring solutions besides SolarWinds in the past few years and ALL of them have this ability. I'm no developer, but since the NPM and alerting databases usually reside on the same physical or virtual server, I would think it should be very feasible to do. In…

I am getting the same thing. My tasks are not being updated. It appears by the prior comments that it stopped working correctly between August 21st and August 24th.

I would also like to add that the widget also doesn't appear to show ANY alerts other than those that are set to Node. In my case, I was scratching my head wondering why I couldn't get my custom alert that reports on less than 20% VOLUME availability on the disk of my F5 load balancers. The widget is kind of halfway there,…

In this case I do, but I would like to have a script that can find the nodes that have these strings in the log messages and then execute the remediation…

Certainly! I just send you the walk of our lab 3810M switch in an email. Thanks for taking a look!

Bump jstephenson's comment. We haven't had Cisco in a very long time, but we are completely switching out our access layer with all Aruba switches. Reading that there is no hardware monitoring support for them just ruined my day.

I agree with what Superfly mentioned and I'll throw in my two cents. The rep probably told you that SL100 would be enough because of this math: 30 EX3300 switches x 2 uplink ports per switch = 60 interfaces However, hopefully those 30 switches are uplinked into two distribution or core switches, so you would want to…
