I am having that right now. I am going through the motions of me reporting a crime, but because I was there when said crime was being committed, I am not effectively being charged for said incident that took place.

Is this upgrade going to be as stable as 12.3...? I'm not saying it was a really bad implementation, but...
-
I have also had this scenario. Even with the small amount of technical knowledge that I possess.
-
I'd sit in my pants as a child and play on a spectrum 48k and get frustrated beyond no end about how bad I was at scripting.

New rig. I had a drive that caused my PC to crash at least two or three times a day. I never even knew a drive would do that to a pc. After a drunken anger of 'canning it' basically bashing the drive with a can, it killed the drive. Which means new rig time.

IDC how something is installed. I care how stable the installation is, as the issues that had occurred on the last releases, one hopes that solarwinds isn't that unstable again.
-
I'm not sure what it is, but i'd be up for going.
-
DONE!
-
I am now into enterprise storage and blockchain technology. Something about 'sticking it to the man' just seems weirdly satisfying.
-
I did re-add it and then click next as instructed. I still have the same issue. I will raise a call to solarwinds and see if they have any ideas. Thank you for your time and effort.
-
Here is the output.
-
This is one that works perfectly fine. Displays all of the disks, ect. But that one, that was made exactly the same, but produces a different outcome.
-
I removed/deleted the node from solarwinds. Then waited a few moments. Then added the node via NPM.
-
So, I will show you what I would like, though I feel from speaking to an engineer at solarwinds, the options I have are either remove the drive from being monitored, or remove the top 10 from the home page. Currently our top 10 of disk space used looks like this: But our manager would like it to look like this: Again, from…

I had a quick webex session with solarwinds to see if it was me being a dumb s***, or there was indeed something wrong with our old box. And apparently there is something wrong with the box and I need to install the patch.
-
Oh god, I have become stupid. My apologies for this, I cannot see that for the love of me.
-
How weird. I have found (while casually exploring our environment) that ALL of the appinsight nodes are in a state of unknown. Once I have moved some monitoring on some nodes I will have a look later today or tomorrow to see if the same thing is happening with all of them. I think it might as they are all exhibiting the…

Do you mean a backup of the database? Let me search for it.
-
Due to our metrodata centre config, we need the cluster at the same site as the database. Due to financial costs, we can't have expensive things like always on, or another cluster at the site. So for those that really would like a dynamic solution for the database (save backing up the database) it would be appreciated if a…

Yes. If I run a test ping from solarwinds it is successful. It can see the CDM (CPU, Drives and memory) the values and thresholds were already amended as it's an SQL server. Again, that's perfectly fine. Thank you for your help btw.
-
There's a lot of drives and I want them all in their respective server - which is what I have done: 4 separate requests for four separate servers. Three are fine, but this one is acting weird. I did a new condition to point to the drives and to the server (I always get confused by all of this, which means I might have got…

Thank you for your time on this. I feel some solarwinds training might be in order as I don't know anything about it. With regards to setting your own custom properties, would it be required to be scripted (eg - something like this: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/docs/DOC-172288) or, is there a way to do it either in the…

Having a search and a read, I came to this KB article - Multiple object charts do not have View option and Edit button - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Has anyone come across this before? The only things I can think of is that either it's a permissions issues (maybe an old account that no longer exists.) , or,…
-
The odd thing is that the edit button is not there. My domain account is an admin in all applications on solarwinds, but I simply don't have the permissions to edit it. I changed the admin password (as if there was a restriction on this custom resource) logged in as admin and then tried it to no avail.
-
Anyways, thank you for your assistance. I hope you could see why I was getting so confused.
-
Sometimes it doesn't work like that. We have a separate site that I would like to failover to. But as our budget doesn't allow for that (as I was told late last night) then we can't have it anyways. I still think that you should be allowed to migrate the db over as standard practice.
-
As an example - once a month? A week. A year? Smarties?
-
If I am being honest, this is my first deployment in my life. I am not happy with it, but it performs better than the last environment, so any improvement is still improvement.
-
Good morning. Did you ever come into issues displaying the chart? I had found yesterday that it was very sporadic in displaying. On the rare occasion is would display, but most times it killed my servers resources. I have spoken to solarwinds about this and they have been made aware of the issue for a while now, but no fix…

I would know and do know from reporting. I have a report that is sent to me everyday at 8am and it will show a list of disks that have only 10% storage left. If the disk breaks the 5% threshold then an alert is sent out. We have a maybe small estate (1,000 ish nodes) so it's not a massive amount of work. I am guessing that…
