  • I am currently in the middle of changing my Alerts' SMTP-relay server... has this been addressed in the latest releases of NCM/NPM??? I would also vote for one location to update SMTP server along with using Multiple SMTP servers should the Primary SMTP-relay fail.
  • Denny, I would like to be added to the Beta group as well. We have 30 US locations and are running Avaya VoIP phone system across the WAN (Cisco routers) on a MPLS network. Thanks, Chris
  • Will, That Device Type setting worked like a charm! You're my hero! I have created new *.ConfigMgmt-Commands" for other vendors like Packeteer and Meru Networks. Very nice! Thanks, Chris
  • 30 more votes for Meru... I have 30 sites running Meru Controller/APs. Thanks!
  • Here is some sample text that works for the IP ADDRESS PATTERN Limitation when configuring Account Limitations within an Orion user account view. The only PITA is the inability to use subnet masks (255.255.252.0 or /22). 10.2.160.* OR 10.2.161.* OR 10.2.162.* OR 10.2.163.* hope that helps!
  • Well, I have lot's of non-Cisco related equipment... so I'd like to see how to do this using advanced scripts that allow me to only pull out only the lines that begin with "serial", for instance.
  • Yes, we too are experiencing the same slowness when discovering our XOS Extreme BlackDiamond 8800s and Summit x450s from Orion v8.0.2. Cirrus can discover without issue on interfaces, etc. Since I found an Extreme thread, does anyone know how to make Cirrus "download" configs off of Extreme switches? I believe that since…
  • Menu-Based or Menu-Driven CIRRUS support/mgmt is something we are very interested in getting working as well. Apparently, there is some type of pre-login command that occurs PRIOR to an actual login to the equipment which is not allowing me to get into our menu-based devices (ie. Encore VSR-30 Satellite appliances). This…
  • Yes, I've also noticed these disappearing nodes over the past weekend. I have no idea when this started to occur. 2 to 3 weeks ago I upgraded to our Orion NPM 10.1.1 to 10.1.2... that same week I installed the UDT Beta/Trial as well. Our SQL server is running SQL2008 64-bit as well. However, I hadn't noticed anything…
  • We restarted the SNMP service running on each Meru Wireless controllers and that appears to have fixed our issues. Still unsure as to why they all started acting up in the first place though. Hope that helps.
  • Yes, I have been seeing tons of these specific interface events, which all appear to have started on Thursday, July 22 early morning... primarily with our Meru Wireless controllers. I am going to check and see if any Microsoft Updates/Patches were applied to my Orion server on or near that date/time. Just a hunch right…
