Tony, This is absolutely wonderful feedback. Search is something that we're working on, so if you're up for it I'd definitely like to get you involved in future user research sessions. Thanks! Serena

Actually there's no need for using a VMAN specific offline installer, although Marcin is right that all installers will contain the latest version appropriate bits. Robert, as you're talking about the NPM 12.2 hotfix, there are many installers you can use. In your customer portal, you can run the latest NPM 12.2 offline…

For testing purposes, we did set up an environment with…

There is no way to do this in the product, however we are tracking feature requests like: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/8037#start=50 that would cover this request

SAM would be ideal for this! You can see an example of how customers took the 2019.4 version of SAM to do this for Netscalers https://thwack.solarwinds.com/t5/SAM-Discussions/Netscaler-polling-Solarwinds-API-Edition/m-p/148781#M9415 and we have continued to make progress and improvements there. the 2020.2 release candidate…

the HTTP request is done from the polling engine you've assigned. Currently we have a feature request to handle doing post/get requests from the agent, which is something that we're tracking. If you've got a use case to see that request coming from the agent please let us know!
