Working in retail, IT during holiday is very conservative on changes here. That being said we also recently just added all or our stores' registers to Orion and have a much more in depth look at performance and application issues. Our Ops team actually uses it more often now which is a plus as well.

Bugged parents for a computer and finally got one for Xmas '96. Windows 95 FTW. I would spend hours messing around and learning new things and taught myself HTML to build websites. After that I moved to classes in high school and college and the rest is history.

Moved a handful of servers to Azure and working on getting backups up there as well.

To be fair I haven't done a lot of in depth testing, but it does work. Also if you have Azure MFA turned on it requires you to use MFA to login before you launch the web app.

If you use Azure AD you can setup an Azure AD app proxy. Very easy and not additional network configuration is required. Remote access to on-premises apps - Azure Active Directory Application Proxy | Microsoft Docs
