We misunderstood what our requirement was unfortunately (multiple teams , not all on the same hymn sheet using the same application). The real requirement is to monitor the certificates stored on our PKI servers and alert for expiring ones , not something on a web page.
-
Hi, I dont know anything about URL's ?, I go to SAM, Application Monitor Templates , SSL Certificate Expiration Date, and select assign to node. At no point does it ask or is there anywhere to add a URL.
-
The "delete" option is greyed out.
-
Yes and quite frankly its rubbish , you get next to no information back what so ever.

So we are running SQL 2014 on a separate but physical server. We are running NCM 7.8, SAM 6.6.1, NPM 12.3, IPAM 4.7.0, WPM 2.2.2, UDT 3.3.1 and NTA 4.2.3

So nobody in the known world uses NCM/RTC for Cisco Firewalls and or Juniper Firewalls ?......So far Device Expert from Adventnet blows this into the weeds......
-
Thanks for the link however Solarwinds in their infinite wisdom removed some of the fields namely the "physical interface" field. So that doesnt work.
-
We have UDT but with over 400 switches registered I only want a report that I can select which switch not one that cannot be edited which you cant (as I understand it) with the pre-canned UDT report.
-
Sorted, thanks for that.

Yeah so that's what im trying to achieve - I think So Hierarchy Group - Site A - Group - Stores - Group - Lab - Group - Admin I have a list of Subnets in "Discovered Subnets" but no way to add them or move them into the "Groups", So I tried creating the subnets manually under the Groups but then they never discovered…

Does NOT work for Dell hence my posting on here....

Hi, Thanks for the replys folks, unfortunately these dont/work (for what I want/my ability) Custom Table - Issues encountered are that it has a "Time Period" field and in "Table Layout" there is no option to add a Group and even if there was how would you then list the nodes in that group ? Custom Object Resource - I dont…

Cheers, Working well now - Thank you

We have to use ESight for our Huawei estate as Solarwinds still does not fully support Huawei products (that we use). AR & NE series routers interface stats, netflow but no sub interfaces , cpu or memory S5700 series switch, no cpu or memory

Hi, We have 4 x NE20E-S4's all sending netstream traffic into NTA 4.2.3 successfully, here is my config (if it helps). slot 5 ip netstream sampler to slot self ip netstream export host xx.xx.x.xxx 2055 ip netstream timeout active 1 ip netstream timeout inactive 10 ip netstream export version 9 origin-as ip netstream…

I think this is a pointless exercise Solarwinds support for F5's does not work - End Of, I do NOT expect to have to *** around with my F5 config's or Solarwinds code to make something work especially given how much Solarwinds charge , I mean you wouldn't buy a Ferrari and expect to have to assemble the engine yourself.…
-
Hi Chad, Yes we are using 7.5 and no the included F5 template does not work at all, using the included F5 template you get an instant "Test Failed. Timeout" message . We have tested against the 3600's, 4000's & 1600's.

One thing we have observed between versions is that you need to answer a y/n with v12 whereas v11.6 you dont, can you pass responses in NCM ? Version 12.0 solarwinds@(ECPALB02)(cfg-sync Changes Pending)(Active)(/Common)(tmos)# show running-config Display all 215 items? (y/n) Version 11.6 solarwinds@(alpalb11)(cfg-sync…

Hi Ken, Yup we are on 12.x but they don't work for our 3850's, seems to be setup for 3750 which I think are quite different.
-
Bit late to the party but I have AR2240 and NE20E-S4 routers if needed.
-
Anyone ?
-
I have exactly the same request....something that is very poorly supported an needs an answer.
-
We have the Cisco stuff down fairly well, but I will be looking at improving it with the above !!. Our big issue is that we were told that NCM RTC would support Juniper SSG Firewalls Juniper SRX Firewalls Cisco ASA (x and non x) Firewalls and yet this does NOT appear to be the case , I can find nothing about how to…

Don't do it !! If you have custom alerts they will break , In our case going from 11.5.2 to 11.5.3 broke all of our alerting and as of now we don't have our critical disk space alerts back . If its working stick with it , I don't trust Solarwinds upgrades.
-
Same here, I believe its where the port is admin up but no sfp is plugged in.
-
We don't get the username either , I know other products can so assume its something missing from the detection process. We have been using NCM for over a year without this (makes our auditors grumpy) and would like a solution too. (Sorry to hijack your thread)
