I need this as well. Please let us edit the 'Vendor' and 'Machine type' of ICMP only devices. It's frustrating seeing 'unknown' all the time. I'm currently editing my SQL database manually in the dbo.Nodes table. Grrr....frustrating

I do manual editing of the 'dbo.Nodes' table in the SQL database (SolarWindsOrion). There, you can edit the machine type, vender, etc.... I only have about 450 devices, so it isn't TOO bad. Copy/Paste Scott

Currently I'd need 30. One for each server. It really is a great troubleshooting tool to watch just the traffic on a particuler server without changing the rules (hostname) and then reloading. Thanks. I did an experiment by removing it from the SecurePipeServers/winreg/AllowedPaths under the control(0/1/current) sets. I did it manually, reset the machine and rescanned. It still failed, so evidently Syslog Server put's it back in the registry when you run it. We cannot have any CAT-Is, so please tell me you have…
