Ok, I did activate the licens, but I cannot deactivate it. The server does not have an internetaccess, and will not have it in the future. Activateing license without internet access was easy, but deactivate without internet access...?

Thanks! Did it and it all looks fine, now I'm running IPAM 3.1.

I think I will try to keep everything (nr 2). And I will have the DB-guys help me to backup and restore the database to the new DB-server. Then I will remove the license from the existing and use it on the the new server when installing the newest version of NPM. But will there be any issue with the servername? Dont the DB…

Thanks Michal. We are now running on a virtual machine, with sql server on a diffrent server. Licens issue was resolved by support. Import have been done and we are now up and running. Some minor details still left, but it's looking good. Br Geir

Thanks, installed the licens. Now I'm waiting for the virtual server to be set up, but this will take some time. Until it's up and running, I'll play around with the IPAM installed on the current server.

The service is up and running, and I also have tried restart it. But we have done a new installation to a new virtual server and using SQL server on a different machine now, and imported all the subnets, so now it's running on a production server. Thanks for the reply. Geir

Shouldn't snmp be able to read the hostname and update the IPAM 3.0? Our switches are not in our DNS, so for us it would be best that an snmp scan could read the hostname and update the IPAM.

I managed to get this working by deleting the old info in the database. I also had to install .net 4.6 to have the website work properly.

Just a question. I have IPAM 3.0 installed, and want to upgrade to 3.1. I have downloaded the new version, and are ready to upgrade. But I cannot find any information on how to do an upgrade. Maybe I'm not searching good enough to find out how to do it....and since I'm new to IPAM I just want to be sure to do things right.…
