Especially if a customer site prohibits email from DPA!

Please FIX the incorrect display of PLE when Buffer Pool Extension is ON. Numbers tank to ZERO, which isn't true...

Apologies - additional scenario recorded in +1 on THIS one. Don't quite get the rationale as to why exclusion stops at high-level....... Is there a SW person who give a good use case for only 2 level, and not for lower, and reports, and current, too?

You miss-read the thread, it appears... The 5th word in the subject is "Reports" These are already excluded by the name-dialog. They are also excluded by having added, for example, "|CHECKDB" (sans quotes) to the analysis.properties config file, and restarted the Ignite Service. We do not want to see them on any REPORT,…

SQL Monitor supports this - DPA ought to, too, because the limited fixed-periods allowed perform far too much data smoothing, so reality is lost the longer the timeframe under analysis. To enable us to look at "Last weekend" etc., means we don't have to resort to dpa_repository queries for the much needed resource data.
-
MODERATOR: Hasn't this been implemented in 11.x?

Frequently being asked to share Resource Utilization stats, but cannot email these via any automated report (as of 12.1 even). Pulling hand-crafted raw data from the dpa_repository for 30 servers is no fun! Please, add configurable RESOURCE reporting ASAP, to include the ability to Show/Hide Baseline. Simply adding these…

Also agree, STRONGLY. When we change the chart config to see, say top-40 SQL, rather then the default, we have to keep scrolling right once we've named a query. That should be completely unnecessary - the pane should be as wide as the entire chart plus all named queries in all columns. You'll probably need to offer a "Wrap…

My apologies... That's an obvious thing to those of who have used the old, and now new, QUERY advice. However, TABLE TUNING is a "you will see this forever" annoyance... My bad.

Critical to usability of DPA. Having SEVEN time zones from China to Western US, it's a nightmare having to keep translating what I'm seeing over any of 25 "I don't recall the timezone" instances just to answer "WHEN did that actually happen?". This timezone change needs, of course, to be reflected in scheduled reports,…

3 months from this essential option being suggested - and no response to-date From Solarwinds...? When the likes of DBCC CHECKDB on a 2TB DB take disproportionately longer than the remotest long-running/top-consuming T-SQL Query, there is no good reason why the former should dominate the Top-SQL Chart, or even be included…

Afterthought: * If there happens to be an entry in the Trends Page for the "Advisors" tab, for thie SQL #, include a button to "Tuning..." so we can go there if we want to.
-
Delayed reply, with apologies. Yes, I'd seen those tiny dots and hovered over them. The typical horizon is 30-days in Trends, so the annotations disappear relatively quickly. Aside from having to play with different charts and horizons, the history of annotations for a server under intense tuning isn't readily available.…

For version 10, the path changed, but the file is the same (extension = properties). <install_root>\DPA\iwc\tomcat\ignite_config\iwc\analysis
