Dear friends I think it was a clear question. This observability is just a marketing things or it bring us also a new architecture? I don't see any sign in exist documents that shows us any thing. I hope this great name changing or license merging also bring us more technical benefits. I always were a fan of solarwinds…

@"HerrDoktor" @"christopher.t.jones123" @"shuth" @"ecklerwr1" Dear friends Right now there is no way to enable jmx monitoring or disable fips on last version of solarwinds based on articles that you sent here. Even I try it on a fresh installed test server. Please understand it that without jmx now monitoring of java based…
-
Now after these days I wonder that where are solarwinds specialists in this forum? Is this a forum for solarwinds at all?!!!!!
-
Is there anyone who knew something about this service at all? I wonder why I can't find anything about that in documents or why admins didn't answer my question after these days
-
Active server And secondary server
-
Also as you read inside link that you sent me most of parameters read from api so the one and only way is using jmx for calling API. So problem is still on
-
I asked them but they sent me exact same link for disabling fips. * And now I am middle of nowhere and don't know how monitor my weblogic servers
-
All of my word is now solarwinds should remove jmx monitoring from it's component list if it is so dangerous based on fips and if it's not so makes re-enabling this component so much easier. Still I can't disable this shi...y fips
-
Buddy I know all things you said. But I mean as a monitoring solution when a tool must be disabled so they should make a second option for that.
-
Unfortunately for monitoring weblogic you need to have websphere and then use java monitoring to have access to weblogic parameters. Untill now I have no second option for monitoring that Also jmx monitoring is a vast option that help to monitor many other softwares but now it is useless with fips. I think solarwinds must…
-
Thanks I see that KB before but it can't help cause I can't disable it with that steps. It's like one-way road. Still waiting here to find another way instead of jmx to monitor weblogic Thanks again
-
Hi Thanks for reply but as you read I have no any option but using jmx monitoring and I am wondering why solarwinds still have jmx option when fips doesn't let him. Also I can't find how to diable fips on orion. Even I don't remember that when I enable it. So still need help

Is there any one who can help me?
-
I have HP and also IBM servers in my vcenter. non of them has hardware health info. Just for the records
-
it's not a conflict for enabling SNMP too. Cause I have same config in 2 other site that work very well
-
aLTeReGo Hi I think still we have a open case here! Do you know any other way ?
-
I told you that when I choice esx still option gray out
-
"If you are polling your hosts though the vCenter, you will not see the hardware option listed when you click List Resources as these nodes tend to be ICMP. This information is automatically collected by Orion, when available, through the VMware API." I also open 5989-5988 when I add vcenter to solarwinds but I am sure…
-
aLTeReGo Sorry but there is no certificate with that name in my mmc panel. Just there is a sub-folder in my root with "Solarwinds Agent" name that includes two certificate and none of them not expired (Solarwinds-orion and SWI-Orion-Agent(xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx)) I want to know What if someone unintentionally clears…
-
If I remove and then reinstall Solarwinds Agent is that work?
-
How could I change this when "poll through" stay gray out at any situation? Situation : select each esx server - select vcenter
-
Thanks for reply. But All of my Esxi is polling through vcenter now. I have Virtualization manager 7.0.0 and connect vcenter to that . also I poll vcenter and esxi with snmp and vmware polling in orion. I have solarwinds additional poller that done this for me I am so confused . I also checked my firewall for any missed…

No but its not my issue too. I even changed Log on user too local administrator of my server but no different. My log in Solarwinds.APM.Blackbox.Iis.jobs.log is like this when I click on "Test Credentials" with <Inherit windows credential from node> option selected in "Configure IIS server for monitoring" box: ---------…
-
kpmarcin Thanks for your reply I think its not related to esx or vcenter Cause both of them work fine and send hardware info very well. I think this issue is related to two side polling. One with vman appliance and other with orion . Also in orion I add vcenter with its api and add each esx with snmp. For details I wrote…
-
if 443 not open even solarwinds dont connect to vcenter . I mean other port if needed.
-
yes but adding local root credential is also needed
-
Thanks for reply First of all when I choose each of esx servers "poll through" option stay gray out. But in polling state all of esx servers are poll through vcenter
-
I told you before. My server work normally and I monitor IIS with solarwinds agent. I have a HTTPS website on that IIS. one day I see on solarwinds application monitor page an alarm that showed me HTTPS website's certificate will expire soon. So sysadmin start to replace old certificate with new one. Right after replacing…

I have hardware health info in vcenter all time. But issue is that I dont see them in solarwinds. I have NPM 12.0.1 SAM 6.3 VMAN 7.0.0 and added vcenter solarwinds with SNMP and Vmware polling also in VMAN. But nothings happend. Hardware health info is missing from solarwinds. I have 3 HP server two of those have windows…
-
I am now sure the issue is related to VMAN integration , cause now after enabling that hardware info is frozen and for real time info you have no choice but disable this integration. I think the last solution is upgrading VMAN to v8.1 and NPM to 12.2 and SAM to 6.6. Maybe this could solve the issue. If this way also had no…
