Triple bump

And the ability to share the report with other web console users so they can browse the timeline and see details.

I just use Firefox with an auto tab rotation add-on.

I had a hard time too, using the Barracuda default port of 162. Not sure if this the actual fix, because I attempted several other fixes, but when I changed the Barracuda to port 161 and restarted I was able to poll successfully using SNMP.

I'm having the same issue - when an agent cannot connect, the node's status shows down. However, the node responds to PING. Therefore, I want to change the status polling in bulk. Have you discovered a method to apply this setting in bulk?

Wish I could up vote this about 100 times...

Is this seriously accurate??? I can't add a web-based report to the website?! Are we sure it's not just called something else?

Make that 2 guinea pigs!

Thanks Steven! I shared the idea with my connections, but unfortunately it's not a large list.

Perfect, you're awesome. Thanks Chris!

Mr. Robot = Fight Club 2015. A bit dark, but one of the most well-done shows I've seen in awhile. We'll see, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out Mr. Robot = Tyler Durden.

Thanks Chrystal !! I also figured out how to do it in the web console: Under All Settings click on "Mange Pollers": Then group by "Technology" Next, Change the poller assignment by checking the ICMP box and clicking +Assign: *Note - You do not need to "remove" any currently installed pollers. "Assign" can also be thought…

This should be getting more votes. Having the AND/OR option within nearly all other menus, this seems like an easy fix.
-
This is still an issue and has not been implemented. Shouldn't have to go through thousands of nodes one by one and click on list resources to determine the new native pollers that are available.

KMSigma cobrien When I upgrade to NPM 12 later this month; I'll be adding a couple of products (VMAN, WPM), removing a few (NTA, Toolset), and increasing licensing on others. Our SQL server is physical, all other SolarWinds servers are virtual. Question: Couldn't I just re-build my VM's for a super clean refresh? Isn't…

I'm surprised it wasn't included. In my opinion, this should be a requirement.

Has there been any further development on this issue? I'm getting the same error.

Haha - I was going for more of a captain planet reference:

Thank ya sir! What are your thoughts on why a group with mixed status shows critical rather than warning? Otherwise I would just select "show worst status". Screenshots below:

+1 for evaluating SolarWinds WHD for use in our school district. I foresee the biggest issue in getting all users to signoff on this ticketing solution is the antiquated mobile app.

Any updates on this? Thanks!

With a little energon, and a lot of luck... haha +1 if you get the reference. But seriously, for the backgrounds I used Visio, publisher, paint. Save as an image file, compress the image file, use as background image. A lot of trial and error to find the right size fonts, tables, etc. that work best with the icons…

This post, and its link to the success center was super helpful for me. My HA pool was showing partially operational, with a critical status on 1 of the 2 pool members. There was no logs or event messages to indicate why the status was critical. After running active diagnostics and seeing several messaging related possible…

What was it? I'm having trouble with MinuteMan UPS as well. I have over 40. 27 or so work just fine, but the remaining all results in "Test Failed" even after I reset the credentials on the device itself. I was able to add the others in just fine without adding my primary poller IP in the NMS table...

Unfortunately, the DBA's want to know when an agent job fails so I cannot disable this component. But, it also marks the whole app as critical. Can't it just mark the app as warning? This goes back to one of my feature requests in that I would like to be able to select which, and/or how many components need to be "down" to…

Just to clarify, clear out the windows/temp directory on your primary poller. I've found this workaround is still effective when I get a discovery error. Here is the email message from William Muhle of SolarWinds: The issue you are having is a known issue that is caused by the use of the OLE DB file that we use with the…

I might have responded to the wrong post - I think I meant to reference this post: Re: SAM 6.4 Upgrade Problems using the following Success Center link: Rabbit MQ - SolarWinds Worldwide, LLC. Help and Support Nevertheless, this post also helped me get me started!!
