How did you get this to work? When I try to build the custom poller, all I get are errors when I try to submit any OID. I'm running 2026.1.1, maybe they broke something in this version?

I just spent 4 hours this morning trying to resolve this issue after our Windows monthly patching rebooted our servers. All kinds of weird things happen when this plugin isn't working. Very frustrating that this isn't listed in the known issues for the 2026.1 releases. Also, the article claims this setting is "A…

Unfortunately you can't build on filters. Only one filter at a time can be applied using this solution. Here is the SWQL for the "Region Filter". You will need to change the TOP 10 to however many filters you want to have. In the first CASE group you will put the names of your filters. In the second CASE group, their…

what a hunk of junk. I've spent hours troubleshooting this before I finally found the API key lifetime settings were the cause of all my heartache.

I was able to accomplish this using global filters. Then I just added two widgets to my dashboard. One allows you to select the filters you want to apply, and the second shows what filters are applied to the current view. I didn't have to create a tab for each region, instead it just updates the current tab.

I get the same results and it drives me nuts. Does anybody know a solution for this?

What was the custom pollers issue? I've got custom pollers for Juniper switches and Palo Alto firewalls and they have stopped working after the upgrade. When you test them they show values properly, but the node details on all of my devices aren't updating. New nodes don't populate at all. I have a case open but no fix has…

I opened a support case and the issue has been resolved. 1. Make a DB backup 2. Run this query to apply against one node (example node 7881): update [Ctx_C_Orion_PowerControlUnit] set [OrionNodeID] = [Node.Id] where [Node.Id] = 7881 3. Verify if the PCU status is displayed correctly in Node Details 4. If this query has…

I'm seeing the same issue after upgrading from 2020.2.6 to 2023.2. Did you ever find an answer from support? I really don't want to have to do this for 400 units.

I don't see any errors. It's so weird. I tried on MS Edge, Chrome, and Firefox. All behave the same way. Hovering over the icon shows the correct URL at the bottom, but clicking does nothing.

This is great, but how to I get the node names? I tried adding Node.Caption to the select query but it breaks

Looks like that did the trick. Only things I really ended up changed were deleting of the "active" folder, deletion of the "479" registry entry, and the removal and reinstall of the syslog and traps application. Not sure what exactly fixed it, but it's working now!

Great question, we're using the legacy Syslog & Traps. We found the Log Viewer was missing some functionality and didn't want to have to pay for Log Analyzer to get it back. The URLs we're going to are /Orion/NetPerfMon/Syslog.aspx and /Orion/NetPerfMon/Traps.aspx

Are you still having this problem? We're seeing this on one of our APEs and so far tech support hasn't been able to figure it out.
