Hi Sohail First is the issue of the installing, when its finishing it freezes and I have to cancel the installation. I rerun the .exe this time it installs with no incident, but when it's going to start the configuration I get the next error: "Missing column 'ID' on the target table or view" or something along those lines.…

Hello Yes, we recently uninstall IP Address demo since it wont fulfill our reqs. Think that would be a problem?

Thanks for all the input guys. Some good news, of the 3 nodes that weren't sending, now I recieve from one more, that puts me on 2/4 for Netflow. Now, probably what helped me, is that this 2 nodes are on-premises, so they don't have to pass by the Firewall. However the other 2 nodes are...elsewhere in the country so they…

Thank you both for your input. The instalation was very easy, now all is set to configure IPAM and start using it. Which brings me to my last question. Whats the best practice to start using IPAM? I mean, what are the steps to take? Configure Subnet Scan Settings, the Adding Supernet and Subnets along with IP addresses and…

Hi jswan, As I posted above the post you replied to, I have a Firewall. Also, I have set a rule to allow packets from this router to our Orion server on port 2055. I havent tried the ping, but last night cheking Wireshark, I saw the ICMP packets beetween the server and the router, getting Request and Response, so I assume…

Hello Matthew, Yes, the destination is the IP from Orion NTA and the port is 2055. Um, what you mean by migrated? This server has never been moved or anything, so it shouldnt be a problem. Any other ideas? Regards, Raul

Thanks, did it and worked just fine

Hi Paulo, Thanks for a quick response. Its great to hear I can use the same server and install IPAM. The other Orion products I have is NPM and Network Atlas, also NTA. As of this moment we have only 1 polling engine. As far as I can tell NPM and IPAM can share the same engine correct? So far other products have no…

Um...I was under the impression that Chrome did automatic updates. Idk if its only for the web-downloaded version, but I've never had to update Chrome. Truth, I've mostly worked with MacOSX, but so far I see same behavior in Windows 7. No updates needed. and whenever I check the version it always says "Chrome is up to…

Hello, I've been using Chrome Version 23.0.1271.95 and haven't had any issue yet. No add-ons, running on Windows 7. Been wondering thou, does anyone of you use Chrome Canary? If you do, there is definitely going to be a problem. Regards, Raul

Hi jswan, In an earlier thread you posted the following: "Most edge routers are configured to do dynamic NAT (aka PAT) on the outside interface. If this is the case with yours, you'll need to configure a static NAT translation on the edge router for the outside devices to talk to the NTA server. It's not enough to just…

Hello again, Well, I think I found a main problem. and is regarding my device. I run some commands to show the flow export from my device and found a disturbing issue. Router#sho ip flow exp Flow export v5 is enabled for main cache Exporting flows to 10.90.XXX.XXX (2055) Exporting using source interface Multilink25 Version…

Hello, I put this on standby for a bit and didnt do much till yesterday. I set the timeouts as Choly said, but this didnt helped either. Now my thoughts are that maybe is the firewall which is giving me some problems. I set a new rule in the firewall that should let pass all UDP packets to port 2055 from the router I want…

So, I tried doing some sniffing with Wireshark, but Im not sure whats going on. As you see in the 1st screen shot, the last node sent some Netflow data at 11:03am. However, WireShark never got a cflow packet, only lots of SNMP packets. You'll see this in the second screenshot and also please notice I only put the filter…

Hello, We are having the same problem, but we have CISCO Switches 3560. So you should add them to the list of non-compatible Switches. Unfortunately IPAM will be a no go for us since most of our switches are 3560. Regards Raul
