okay. i got it working. I applied the patch updates, restarted a couple of services, and now it seems to be working. not only is it working, but running a 100 times better. :) thanks for listening to my grief though...

cool. thanks. i will give a try. need to see how well the reporting is. since it would be for management, they like pretty. i am trying to do as little maintenance as possible (don't want to have to create a spreadsheet or some other type of report every week).
