As a desktop support guy I got a call from the executive assistant. She was complaining that her computer was slow and that we needed to add more LAN so she could get her work done. I just walked away shaking my head.

OK, Got in touch with support and found the answer to both issues. After speaking with Matthew Harvey it was taken care of in minutes. Here is his statement to me... Update for Case #108074 - "Connection Timeout. Job Canceled by Scheduler" Rob, There is one thing I want you to try. As a test, take the timeouts and scale…

I went to the customer portal to download the latest version and the latest version I get is what I already have. Is there another way to tell what version I am running?

Now I another problem as a result of "upgrading" to APM V3.0. Now I can't edit my APM templates. Now when the software attempts to sort by tags I get this at the bottom of the page: Invalid web service call, missing value for parameter: 'search'. at System.Web.Script.Services.WebServiceMethodData.CallMethod(Object target,…

Apparently this is an issue with Cisco switches. I have seen in other posts that others have seen simlar problems. Basicly when the switch port is down the switch reports the link as a 10 meg port then when it comes up it reports as a 100 meg port or gig port depending on the uplink. Is there a way to surpress these events?

Called support and was told that it was not possible to import these files. I was able to work around the issue by using the NPM report writer and call the ConfigMgnt database.

I have confirmed that WMI is working and all the settings according to this document are properly set. What would cause some WMI queries to work and others not to work?

I have a similar issue. I have created a new report using a SQL query, renamed it as a .ConfigMgmtReport but it is not showing up in the reports view. What's up? If I get an answer I'll let you know.

OK, So we have started to see this issue as well. I'm on hold with support now. Has anyone heard anything? Judging by the post here it doesn't look to good. -Rob
