I like the prize for week 1. Now that will really be useful in the office.

we pay that much a litre in the UK

& me. I took a best guess at Q20 as the Q & As didn't seem to match up. but also got the same blank result screen. I used the latest Chrome

Re-reading the thread it sounds to me that even if there were no common area to store all of the creds we might still be able to pretend with a "tie it all together" SQL View. Ir wouldn't help with shared or overlapping names, but it might still work with an enforced naming standard

I watched & read (on & off) for four days & still got Q4 wrong. I was probably overthinking it but I'm looking forward to the answers at the end of the mission to work out what I did wrong

I wanted to tick them every option, but that's not possible. It'll be because I want it all
-
I really need support for single sided 8-inch floppies
-
I didn't even break into a sweat with Q14.

I need to know, is there going to be custom SWAG for SWUG ?

Q19 - Think of the fun you could have is some of the wrong answers were actually correct!

They say that "It is believed that the relatively high speed of this CME was made possible by a prior CME, perhaps the cause of the large aurora event on August 29 that "cleared the way" of ambient solar wind plasma for the Carrington event." And I didn't realize that SW was in business back in 1859.

13Apr - The question is actually harder than I first thought. I quickly got the four down to two, but which of the two? I walked away from it yesterday & took another look today. I was still not completely convinced that I'd chosen the right option, but went for it anyway. Thankfully it was right, but - - -

but then realised that it had taken the trailing ) as part of the URL. Took out the closse bracket & all was OK.

Hi, Have you taken a look at the "dependencies" settings? These allow you to say, have some devices behind a router and if that router were to go down the devices that were behind it would not create alerts. It means that you have to map out the network and identify what depends on what, but that's a good thing to do…

I've been rushing about to see all the family - & trying to find a little time to visit the mission. Have a great time everyone.

Thanks adatole. We've done the SQL upgrades, have stood up some WS2016 to replace a few corrupted WS2012R2 servers & am getting primed to make the leap to WS2019 for all our APEs & AWSs. I might even do the Kiwis straight after for good measure. As soon as we can get the resource and licences to provision the new VMs I'm…

guaranteed to be superb . See you all there.

19/20 Bah, Q20. I see the word "recommended", but it really is the tedious way of doing it.
-
Good morning guys, None of the help links on today's questions are hot. and Q2 does not have an answer option that is correct . Ooops (did it anyway though )

Years ago we used Mercury relays. They were very fast & very clean, but when they exploded. Wow. Mercury all over the place. Brushing it off the backplanes of mainframes was fun. Not. And then you had to fix the problems that the Mercury had caused to other components. Thankfully the last of these were in drum storage,…

Hi guys, Day 5 - answered it correctly, got confirmation & the promise of 150 points , but two screens worth of the confirmation with one confirmation frame below the other. I refreshed F5 & it repainted the doubled response again. Oooops

Was the Q10 poll only open for a short while? I only see the View Poll & Cancel buttons
-
& a belated "Congratulations!"
-
Ignoring the whole points & badge thing, I find the linked accounts really helpful

The good news is that Q20 works fine now
