I often cycle into the office and I've been knocked off my bike twice. Both times have been by young women with the heads bent in homage to their phones crossing the road. Both times were at traffic lights and one was even when I was stationary waiting at a red light. They were both very apologetic after the event, but I…

Yes the WPM page does say that WS2012R2 is supported, but then according to the same page the only SQLs supported are 2005, 2008 & 2008R2. See the System Requirements section of Website Monitoring - Website Monitoring Software | SolarWinds which is in conflict with the matrix on this page. As there have been a bunch of…

Hi DanielleH I logged in Sunday evening to check that I'd done all of this weeks mission & noticed that I'd missed Friday's, but there seems to be a problem with the site. It's really slow. Must have taken about 5 minutes just to paint up the demo site login page. I'm in the UK & the detail page from the UK is still…

I'd bought a "Reference Transcriptor". It was soooo 70s. Gold weights, belt drive, perspex lid. I still have it, but it's packed away in it's original box. Yes, I saved it so that it would be protected. Sad git, eh?

You build it all resilient. HSRP etc & then an IOS bug hangs it all. Bah Humbug - Oh no - that's another holiday altogether

Using NPM 12.2 it still seems a bit unnatural, but if you - - - 1. Create a node custom property, such as "ContactEmail" and populate it with the support distribution list for each node (such as SupportGroup1@1.com). Enter something like NoReply@1.com if there is no email contact or it is unknown. All of the ContactEmail…

My 1st mainframe was a Univac.1100 running a direct decedent of her OS. It was an amazing time where white coats and clip boards flourished and we were definitely in the minority. It was tens of miles to the next computer installation and "working from home" meant that you wrote something on a piece of paper. There was no…
