oracle likes to send lots of unnecessary info. its very inefficient. they send maybe 100 varbinds per trap. ill just grabe the first 21 - thank you for this!

I was just looking at the structure for OEM traps, the name of the device being monitored comes through as varbind 21. is it really only limited to the first 10 varbinds?

Ive been using this method successfuly for a while now, but have come across an issue with oracle OEM - where it spits out an apostrophe in one of the varbinds which messes the SQL query. Has anyone had any luck pre-processing out apostrophes from message text so taht you can filter out the substring you want? Cheers Rob

You saved me with this post - we just upgraded to 2020.2.5 and all APPinsight for IIS monitoring caused our sitewide AD monitoring account to lockout. Disabled the template and the account lockouts stopped. Will be upgrading asap. THANK YOU!
