FWIW we haven't seen systemic issues around 2012.

You should be able to use any of the fields that appear in the report. For example if report contains field “SomeField” – you can use ${SomeField}

Can we check that the SMTP server is configured, and that you can telnet from the NPM server to port 25 of the mail server?
-
If you navigate to the interface and "Edit Interface" the speed and be changed there. Once done, the charts and gauges should scale appropriately.
-
It likely has more to do with time. So "point-in-time" vs. average over the time interval. Check the sample intervals on the respective resources.
-
If you edit the sensor, do you see the desired nic listed in the dropdown?
-
To help narrow it down, let's take the "Status is not equal to 0" out of the equation. If you set it to "Status is equal to 0" does the alert fire?
-
Possible bug sir- we'll send to our QA team to try to reproduce.

At present there are no command line options available for Exporter. We encountered this a few times on the DameWare forums, and it is an existing feature request.
-
The data you are looking for is most recently available in the 10.7 RC (available in your customer portal.) Check out the NodePortInterfaceMap table.

8.5 is pretty old at this point, and I don't recall if it ever supported Win7 (unlikely.) Perhaps trying the latest version (10.7) would be advisable?
-
The rationale for this is that audit data could potentially reveal other (slightly) privileged information. Taken as a FR to allow for audit event view rights. What about creating a report with top XX audit events and scheduling a send to the appropriate folks?
-
Apologies- what sort of agent are you looking to push? Both SolarWinds Patch Manager and DameWare have the ability to install agents on remote machines.
-
How are you currently polling data from the device?

There are some license activation considerations with a P2V, but not generally stability. Support ticket may be the best course of action: SolarWinds Customer Support - We're Here to Help

Validated on shipping 11.5 installer that we are obeying limitations appropriately for that resource / page.
-
It is not presently possible to remove the summary text. Does it just look too cluttered, or was there another reason for wanting to remove it?
-
Why would you not want all of the awesomeness that is SAM 6.0? SAM 6 would be required due the Core platform version dependency.

Something like this perhaps? Weekly Wireless Session Report

Peter, Unfortunately ICMP is required at present for node status. This is a known feature request, and hopefully something we can service in the near term.
-
Would you perhaps be able to post the screenshot of where you are seeing these nodes as down? Their status should be that of "Unmanaged."
-
You could do Custom Chart resource in 10.7. While not gauge, you could at least visualize.
-
The 11.2.1 release was almost exclusively to address some long-standing memory leaks in the product. For those of you who may have been restarting services nightly, this should no longer be required with 11.2.1. As you point out, the remaining issues are still outstanding, and remain to be addressed in a future release

Is it the icons haven't been replaced with the custom ones you inserted, or that the custom icons show up, but status doesn't change? Screen shot would be helpful to make sure we're on the same page.

With the recent release of SQL 2012 SP2, we have not explicitly tested NPM against it. SQL 2014 is however supported in NPM 11.0 (now in RC.) We do know customers are running SP2 in production, with no known issues. In terms of SQL SP installation, we wouldn't be able to provide formal advice outside of what MS would…

Perhaps a custom table (from web-based reports) would work for you:

Stuart, This does indeed appear to be a bug. Even when this setting is “True” RESET actions are not being executed for unmanaged objects. TRIGGER actions are working fine according to the setting value. We are tracking internally as #248295.

Sasi, Could you perhaps send me SNMP walks of a couple of those devices? (rob.hock{at}solarwinds.com) http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/3145/SolarWinds+SNMP+Walk%3A+A+new+tool+for+collecting+SNMP+MIB+walks
