If removing and re-adding the devices doesn't address the issue, it maybe best to have our support team dig in: http://www.solarwinds.com/support/

This appears to be a known issue we're looking at presently sir.
-
In 10.6 we did introduce the ability to use Universal Device Pollers (UnDP) as objects on Network Atlas maps. In regards to the connection utilization information, this ability is native in the 10.7 beta: NPM 10.7 Beta 1 Available

Shawn, The community string (Read-Only or Read-Write) is not something that is discovered, but rather must be specified. This something that is inherent in SNMP protocol and associated security. The SNMP Write string can be set in bulk via "Manage Nodes" in NPM. Multi-select the nodes you want to change and bulk edit the…

Short of using noscript or similar browser script blocker, not at the moment. This is a known annoyance that is on our list to take care of.

SCP Training may be a good place to start, and you can work towards SCP certification.
-
Just so we're on the same page, would it be possible to post a screenshot of the MoC?
-
What printer metrics are you looking to collect? There are a few UnDPs available that may be useful- EX: UnDPs for printer toner, page count, and supply kit levels
-
Perhaps there is an errant space or semi-colon in the CC field somewhere? Try to remove all recipients and type them back in singularly. Don't just copy/paste the existing line as it would duplicate the issue.

Indeed FoE is still available: http://www.solarwinds.com/extensions/failover.aspx

So in NPM 11.5 we can display client position for Cisco WLC: Heat Map Contest We also track associated clients per AP. User-Device tracker (Device Tracker & Device Discovery Software | SolarWinds) has additional functionality to track users and clients as they move between APs / access ports / etc.

Surely sir. To remove custom icons: * Close the NA application * Run SQL query: delete FROM [dbo].[MapStudioFiles] where FileType = 128 * Remove the local files from the folder On next NA run, NA will rebuild icon index based on the files still on disk.

Have you just recently upgraded? It would probably be a good idea to involve our support team: SolarWinds Customer Support - We're Here to Help

The choice would purely come down to performance and cost. It's almost a guarantee that NPM will perform better on newer, faster hardware. If you already have the hardware / budget- go for it. Otherwise, if performance is presently good, stick with your current hardware. We're not like Apple iOS upgrades in terms of HW…

To point at historical release data of SolarWinds products, we will generally see two major releases a year, interspersed with a variety of service releases and hotfixes. While this is a ways from the near-daily builds of Mozilla, we do address and release fixes for any critical issues ASAP. As of the other day the demo…

This syslog partitioning per node is not functionality we have presently. 50 syslogs per second should not be an issue at all.
-
A support case would probably be the best way to dig into this: http://www.solarwinds.com/support/

Not a known issue. May want to try clearing browser cache. Same issue with Chrome / FF?
-
I've submitted this for inclusion in a future DB release. Instructions for updating found here: SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: How do I add a MIB to the SolarWinds database? How do I add OIDs to the SolarWinds database?
-
This is indeed new to 10.7, and causing scalability issues for CP grid.
-
Shouldn't be an issue at all from a compatibility perspective. Check out the migration guide for further details on the migration procedure: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/orion/docs/OrionServerMigration.pdf
-
Rory, The current Group Availability (with members) report isn't sufficient? What would you add / change?

Hi Travis- welcome to Thwack! Here are some common steps to help troubleshoot syslog: http://knowledgebase.solarwinds.com/kb/questions/2407/Syslog+Troubleshooting Let's see what we get for results from the generated data and we can help further from there.

Are you using the Win32 Engineer's Toolset App?

Check out the new NOC-view in 10.7: NPM 10.7 RC1 Now Available

There is nothing readily apparent causing the issue. Let's try removing individual clauses until it starts to test OK. I would start with the second nested condition.

Surely - NPM - Yes, node and interface info. Includes UnDP. SAM - Yes IPAM - Not at present UDT - UDT Settings -> View UDT Job status - >Poll now VNQM - Not at present

A "Custom Chart" in new web reports should be able to get you what you want. EX:

Short answer: no. Here's a roll-up matrix: ShellShock Vulnerability and SolarWinds Products
