Or if you need to keep the historical data, just unmanage.

Apologies sir, we'll ping support to see where the disconnect is.

Is the machine you are trying to connect to Windows XP? If so, let's try to disable Simple File Sharing and ForceGuest: XP Simple File Sharing: This is how you disable "Simple File Sharing" in Windows XP Professional (it cannot be done in XP Home or XP MCE): Open My Computer. Select Tools / Folder Options. Click on the…

If you check out the v12 beta, the resource handles ~5,000 objects and intelligently groups at various zoom-levels: NPM 12.0 BETA4 + QOE NOW AVAILABLE

Daniel, Apologies, I'm not certain what we are trying to do. Are you looking to populate this second DB with NPM table data?
-
Apologies, I didn't realize what you were after. Check out the profiles created under this reg branch: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DameWare Development\DWRCSMSI\Dialog Settings\Profiles

Apologies, I read that to be hosts, not interfaces. Have you tried to rediscover the nodes / interfaces and/or re-add the nodes?
-
Can we verify the option is checked as per the below screenshoot, and close / reopen MRC?
-
Can you send me the ticket # to follow-up on?
-
Got it. Thanks!

Sure- if you open Syslog Viewer on your NPM server, go to View->Alerts/Filter Rules

Hi there, The CPE does have the ability to filter on multiple selection criteria, though it may not be the same control you saw in the early prototype. The control for the filter is the right-hand pull down of each column you would like to filter. Is there something in this behavior that isn't granular enough for how you…

Surely- the license is perpetual, but if out of maintenance it's tied to the last version released while you were under maintenance. Here's a KB on how to use license manager: http://www.solarwinds.com/documentation/licenseManager/Help/LicenseManager.htm

If you happen to be running 10.7, you can disable / enable Multicast via Settings->Manage Pollers:

Perhaps I'm overlooking something here, but selecting the user context in Web-based report scheduler is pretty straightforward:

We are certainly looking to improve our Motorola support in the near term. Could you perhaps send over an SNMPWalk of the RFS model in question? (SolarWinds Knowledge Base :: SolarWinds SNMP Walk: A new tool for collecting SNMP MIB walks) rob.hock{at}solarwinds.com

Glad you like it sir! Stay tuned - we've got more great features on the way. Check out our latest WWWO post: What we're working on post-NPM 10.7

This is indeed a known issue with field sanitization for Group properties in 10.7. We are looking at it presently.
-
Certainly not a known issue. A support ticket may be the best course of action: SolarWinds Customer Support - We're Here to Help
-
Kindly send them my way sir.
-
Definitely a known feature request and something we are actively thinking about. Would you happen to have 30 minutes available next week to discuss?

For *nodes* Try Orion.Events to search for any changes related to the node. For *interfaces* - InterfaceLastChange in Orion.NPM.Interfaces For *containers* - LastChanged from Orion.Containers can be used – but that one reports only the last status change or last update with members (it doesn't include changes on the…

Not a dumb question- items that are included in a service release are generally deemed urgent enough that we don't want to wait for the next major release. Our dev process fortunately is flexible enough to accommodate for this.

If you check out the v12 beta, Trapeze support makes an appearance: NPM 12.0 BETA4 + QOE NOW AVAILABLE

Wish we could comment further on timeline- but our legal types get cranky. What we can say is that the optimization of our product using our own DPA tool is looking to be very fruitful, and we will be testing at greater scale in the future. Present target is 250k elements.
-
We'd love to share, but unfortunately our legal and finance teams get a bit cranky when we talk about timeframe. Denny summarized it nicely here: Fear and Loathing of Roadmaps: Why your PM won’t give you a date
-
There are some WWM bug-fixes in Beta1. We can't comment at the moment on additional improvements- but stay tuned!
-
I know I'm excited.
-
Apologies sir - would you perhaps be able a support ticket so we gather some diagnostics? If you send the ticket number, I'll track on this side.

If the sensor doesn't come online in ~10 minutes, a support ticket may be in order: http://www.solarwinds.com/support/
