This was my final changes before it worked. $members = @( @{ Name = "$GroupName"; Definition = "filter:/Orion.Nodes[CustomProperties.Building='$GroupName']" }) I had to put qoutes around both $GroupName and I changed the NMS_Role to the actual name of the custom property.
