Was looking for a similar alert. Gets me started. Is there a way to include the interfaces description or pull any other fields to show (carrier information)in the alert itself that is being emailed out?

Thanks, was able to get it to work. Is there a way to include in the inventory to show what kind of device it is, not just Machine type, much simpler, such as router, switch, etc.?

According to the Admin settings, user has full Admin rights.
