Sounds excellent! Here's a question for you. If Orion integration makes the cut - and asset discovery does as well - any thoughts on how that might affect element licensing counts in Orion? For example, right now we're at the 2000 level without issue. If we discovered/added our laptop/desktop counts, however, our count…

I have an open case with HPE/Aruba to get an updated MIB from their side. If I get any good result, I'll post it here.

jay.perry - upside is, you get to come in there, create all that good stuff, and look like a true maven of the network management/monitoring space!

Congrats to everyone! Enjoy that free Amazon cash!
-
Data, that is.
-
I hear you. I escalated this one through our Aruba rep and so far they have at least admitted the MIB on the web is not accurate for the rebranded chassis. Certainly not a satisfactory outcome, but I haven't gotten shut down yet. We'll see.
-
Yes. That's what I meant, at least.

Couldn't agree more. The silence is in such sharp contrast to communications regarding other product roadmaps and features that one could assume no news is, in fact, not good news. Perhaps we'll hear something soon!

There will three digits - 12 of crestfallen thwackers in a short while. Sure has been fun tho! Thanks to DanielleH and the rest of the Thwack team for this enjoyable contest!

At least in our environment, delivery of this data to those departments is not the default. Occasionally, we are called upon to leverage xFlow data - and our contextual knowledge of what it means - to bring information to the table in various situations. It would irresponsible and lazy to dump xFlow reports on people, and…

Okay, I'll work with ya.... Say you're using SAM to monitor your SQL server(s), and say like many shops you may have multiple instances of sqlservr.exe. You want to monitor them individually, so you can see which instances/DBs might be chewing CPU at inopportune times. In this example, I have four instances I want to…

I don't see where to submit either....I think a few people are asking. Perhaps all will be revealed shortly.

It's been four years. It's not happening.

STRAIGHT TO PRODUCTION!

Validation that my memory hasn't completely failed is more than enough reward. I also resent the implication that I'm engaged in prize-seeking behavior.

Is there a method for enabling fractional zoom on the Worldwide Map resources inside of SW? I can't find one but perhaps there's a hack that can work. Feature request here: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3520 Please vote it up if you have a moment.

That's a great amp! DO IT!
-
NO TOUCHING!
-
As long as HPE lets Aruba continue to be Aruba, I'm fine with it.
-
Great idea!

10 BUMP 20 GOTO 10

I'm pretty sure that's already happened!

Totes bogues, dudes.... love it

Someone stole your doors, man.

That plan is not ready for prime time, then. Baselines - remember them? :-)

+1 for JabberShark as well....

By that logic, help desk/NOC Tier 1 people and enterprise architects are basically interchangeable. I don't think that's accurate.

I love DPA - it's been useful for us. However, the anemic alerting capabilities/customizations in DPA are really painful at this point. It especially suffers when compared to baked-in NPM alerting, obviously. How anemic, you ask? Let's say I want to report on a commit time threshold - say, 20 msec. Here's one example of a…
