I am curious to know if there has been any movement on this NetperfMon hang issue?

support had me try the seedfile that worked for them. It didn't work on my system. Strange thing is that it doesn't even create a log file to see what might be going wrong. They have suggested two options: 1. Repair 9.1 Sp3 installation and see if that works. 2. Upgrade to 9.5 I am trying option 1 as we speak.

I upgraded to 9.1 sp5 and still have the same issue. I do not see any changes in the Network Discovery tool in this version though. The interface still looks the same. I have also opened a support ticket yesterday(case #100971 ) but haven't heard back from them yet.

you mean 9.5 and not 9.1 sp5 right?

I am having the same issue with couple of long running reports, did this even get fixed? I am on 9.1 SP3.

We have 64GB of RAM, 8 pollers with about 2500 elements each, still have the same issue. Also I have seen that once it loses connection with DB or is not able to re-connect, it doesn't establish the connection again till a restart. Has anyone else noticed that? We are running 9.1 SP3.

I have the same issue in 10.0. Discovery finds only 15 out of 30 nodes that I have given IPs for. When I try to add the remaining ones(not discovered by automated process) I can add them just fine. Any thoughts?

Any ideas on what might be going wrong here?
