Thank you!!! This will do fine for now,, I'll dig up the other reports from the other servers, right now these two are priority

As it turns out, adding device support to the pollers was part of the solution. In examining some configs I noticed the ones having an issue had been configured with duplicate snmp-index values on two or three interfaces. Once I made some changes and confirmed all interfaces has unique snmp-index values, Orion saw…

Hmmm The first string (^ip dhcp snooping$) is correct, is should match "ip dhcp snooping". To match ip dhcp snooping with any additional parameters , try "^ip dhcp snooping .+",, space between the "g" and the "." Also alert should be "String is found" try creating one search rule with an "or" vs "and"

Thanks!!! Never would have thought of that. As it turns out, several of the Fortinets that are workign are pointing toward another poller. But if both pollers are running the same version OS, could one still be missing support for certain devices?

That is the first thing I though of, but that one too was wiped,, only reports left are 95th percentile, I was hoping I could download them,, Thanks for responding,, we have other servers here, I'll start looking at them see what I dig up,,

Did you try a config block serach?

I'm going to keep an eye on this for sure. I am in the same exact boat and Solarwinds support has been literally stumped. One thing I can say, startup config are considerably larger then running depending on your configuration. . Ray ray.pinon@realogy.com

Ran into similar request from another customer, I ended using the Compliance module to serach all configs and flag the guilty ones
-
Not sure NCM can do that. I've worked on similar projects. Once the devices were added to Orion (most cases imported) and configs collected in NCM, I simply used the compliance module to seek out what the customer wanted and fixed with remediation scripts. Hope it helps Ray

Thanks for responding, unfortunately, worked on the theory of possible whitespaces for hours one day, before and after the line,, still zip. Frustrating as hell..

Hmmm. interesting!! It makes sense now as to why Orion suffers backing up the Startup configs. Fortunately for my customer, these are branch offices so the configs are not to "massive", but big none the less. Most of the links are IPSEC VPN's, so that's probably a bottleneck as well . Right now Orion admin is backing up…
