MISSION RULES"Once a question has opened, it will remain open until March 2, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CT." Hopefully its just an issue then... the only one I didn't get a chance to answer.

Visited May 22 on mobile, and there is only one chart per row, so naturally selected the wrong answer.

Update: NetPath probes are working again. The agent hadn't updated on the primary engine so had to manually update it. Just the NCM jobs that are taking forever, and msmq files appear to be getting stuck on the polling engines so having to manually clear them out. Still working on the ticket to resolve this, but getting…

"The Oneders" was the joke, because everyone kept calling them the "Oh Needers"

The main thing I've taken away from all of this is... bundtinis in the Thwack store when?

Filled out the survey, though the final "Submit" button took me straight to the Customer Portal and the "Submit a Ticket" page... ?

Configuration Wizard failing after install from 2018.2 - case opened on the customer portal After an hour and a half webex with tech support, latest suggestion is revert/restore whilst diagnostics are checked A reminder to all to make sure you backup the DB and checkpoint VMs, servers
-
Same here

An excellent post! Glad I'm not the only one who finds upgrades exciting! My favourite part was the bit about "(Find link for snapshots != backups)"
-
Config Wizard issue was resolved by excellent tech support - issue was due to a couple of View rows in the DB that contained no resources! Removed these prior to attempting the install again and this time it all went smoothly. Up and running system now, though none of our NetPath probes have received an update since before…

Just an update - we finally managed to get this working after raising a tech support ticket with SolarWinds. However, we did discover that if you also manage/monirot switches within your ExtremeCloudIQ environment, these ALSO pull through and show up as APs - which adds unnecessary polling. SolarWinds say it is currently…

We still have the issue after upgrading to 2025.1.1 Did you manage to get this working? I'm guessing you would be connecting to the same XIQ data centers as we would, being Europe-based
-
I was hopeful the issue would be resolved when we upgraded to 2025.1.1 but sadly it is no different. Still not getting any information regrading APs, SSIDs, clients etc. Only a response time and packet loss to api.extremecloudiq.com Those stating the issue has resolved appear to be US-based, whereas we are connecting to…

Just in case people were having the same issue, I should point out that this problem is now occurring every single time the system receives Windows Updates and performs a restart. The PerfStack charts completely break. Having to run the Config Wizard every time.
-
Good tip regarding the Config Wizard. It was going to be my next step whilst the system was quiet. We have the main engine, plus three additional pollers. We let the pollers do all the work so there's no nodes assigned to the main engine. Just ran the Config Wizard on the main engine - the PerfStack charts were still empty…
-
This started to happen for us over the past couple of days as well. All PerfStack-based charts are stuck loading like in the below image. The only thing that tends to change in our environment are applied Windows Updates, which was my first thought. Running 2024.4 here. 2024.4.1 is available but we've not yet installed.
-
We don't get any access points at all. I'm wondering if this has only been tested and works with US-based Extreme data centers and not for EU/European-based
-
yeah, that's exactly the same view for us. Just blank
-
hmm unfortunately just can't get this to work. We also have a Pilot XIQ with almost 4000 APs and even with full admin rights on the user being used for the api.extremecloudiq.com node, nothing is being pulled into SolarWinds. Unless we should be using an API token of some sort rather than a bog standard account under…
-
Thanks for the steps. I've tried this and we now have an "api.extremecloudiq.com - Extreme Cloud IQ" node showing green in NPM with response time and packet loss status, but there's no Access Points showing at all. Is there a polling option missing or is this feature only available with a specific product licence? The api…

In that case, the only other thing I dont see in your config is an "snmp-server view" line. Here is how our 9200 configs look: snmp-server view VIEWNAME iso included snmp-server group GROUPNAME v3 priv read VIEWNAME snmp-server user SOLARWINDSUSER GROUPNAME v3 auth sha password priv des password then in SolarWinds:

When I log in with my own account, it is a domain login - i.e. domain\username When I log in with the report runner account, it doesnt use a domain as it is local to solarwinds only Nothing else was upgraded at the time other than Orion itself. I could create a domain account for running reports, but it wouldn't really…

Assuming you have all your nodes in NCM and a scheduled "Network Inventory" job running on them (I think there's a "Nightly Network Inventory" job by default in NCM > Jobs) You should be able to create a report on the following: (Site_ID is one of our custom properties so we can run the report on just one site if we wanted…

Not sure if it's complete, to be honest. I found it a while back when I had the same kind of question. Hope it helps!
-
I did something similar for our wifi interfaces using the "Compliance" section of NCM, not the config change templates. Assuming you're using NCM to backup the configs, this will work. The Compliance report searches through all interfaces that match what you're looking for, then "remediates" with the new config line. * Go…

Yes - recreated the user and no difference
-
When you received the emailed report, did the report contain any information? I've tried the ID with the password and its passing the test ok. The Audit Log i showing the OrionReportRunner user is "logging in" to Orion to run the report successfully. It just seems to have lost all ability to generate any report data
