How do I do that in DB? Instead of going to each node to uncheck the CDROM drive for each node. How come I didn't think about that??? Thanks in advance. :)

David, How about the zones for Solaris 10? They all fall under unknown group. I have my view sorted by Machine Type.

No, I don't need to momitor the cd rom drive, but I've being getting the alert notifications.

Denny, The audible alert works fine for all the alerts. But how about if I want to correlate the severity of hte alerts? Say if I want another sound alert when a router or server is down. For all the alerts, one ding; for router/server down, three dings..

How about the graphs for the canned reports? Can we have those reports in graphs instead of the listings? Say all those Top 10 xxxx reports.

Thanks, Roger. My developer wants to track the urls to make sure that we are getting 2- 7 seconds response time and send an alert when it's taking 20 seconds to get to the url...Guess APM won't be able to do that.? Pam

Me too - set for fixed disk. But I got the alert notification for the /cdrom drive as well.

Hi there, Have you guys tried this? Hit the URL, wait for 10 seconds, try again, wait for another 10 seconds, try the third time, wait 10 seconds, if the url is still not reachable after three tries (30 seconds), send the alert notifications.

Denny, We have NPM 9.5 and have NPM logins synched up with our AD; all works well except I am now having a problem with this one particular user. Whenever he tries to get the details of a node (any node- router, Solaris node, Windows node, etc..), he will be prompted with AD login screen, any ideas??? Pam

Denny, I need to monitor the response time of the URLs, we have APM v3.x, what's the best way to approach it? Say, try to hit the url and wait 10 seconds, then 20 seconds with the second try, then wait 30 seconds with the last attempt. If the last attempt fails, send the alert notification.
