I know there has got to be more people out there with this problem. I called tech support and they acted like there was no way possible.

I think it would be good if they were able to incorporate the suppression into the map maker or another visual tool. This way you could draw a little map with the positions of your devices and where the polling engine is etc. If Orion was then able to follow the flow of the map and set up suppressions based on the position…

I've run into a need for this as well. It would be great if you could see Qlogic FC HBAs in the list resources just like a nic. My main need at the moment is throughput and up/down status. It would be great if it was available for ESX servers as well as SAN attached windows servers.

Anybody had any luck with this? I'm having the same issue. I would think there would be a place buried in the website files where you could just stretch the size of the image used for that piece of the website to match the size of your image. I have been trying to poke around but have not had much luck.

I could really go either way. I usually prefer a client based admin pack rather than a web. Thats only because most web based admin tools are poorly designed. I'm currently the only one that works on our Solarwinds server but the boss is pushing me to train other people. Once we get a few more people accessing this server…

I've spoke to other Orion administrators who agree with this also. I don't think I'll be able to get away from my RRD graphs until this gets a little better.

Is there a plan to bring this sort of thing back. I would be very interested in seeing this. In fact it is one of my only major gripes about the software.
