It appears that 64-bit counters make it malfunction. I removed it from NPM and readded it without 64-bit counters and everything appears to be working fine.

I have opened Case #201862. I can't upload what you asked for because it's too large to send via email.

That brings up an interesting point. How do you handle devices with multiple IPs?

Also, Brandon, we've been a UCS customer since the beginning. We are also right down the street from Cisco's east coast office and I regularly talk to the UCS product team. I'd love to help if possible.

Can you confirm you tried monitoring virtual ethernet interfaces in your environment?
-
It would actually be useful for NCM to back up ACS 5.2. There are a number of configurations that would be useful to grab. I tried connecting with NCM and I get connection refused even though I can interactively log in with PuTTY on the NCM machine. I don't quite get it. ACS 5.2 uses the same command set as IOS.

Another issue is that adding the cluster IP only gives you visibility of one node if you have redundant fabric interconnects. I just realized this. HTTP calls are only supposed to come in on the cluster IP, but SNMP response appears to not be aggregated across both.

There isn't much that you might be able to get from the blade itself other than maybe model information if that access were available. I don't believe UCS allows direct SNMP access to the blades. The blade IPs are for the BMC (what you'd KVM into). I checked the SNMP guide for UCS and see no reference for the BMC. CPU and…

To be clear, IPAM connects successfully, but reports it didn't find any scopes.

I'm not sure what you're saying. What issue were you seeing? Our 6509-Es don't see paths to other switches after the network sonar sweep using it as a seed router.

Any updates?

You should be able to add interfaces. See the attachment...

I have verified it is pulling the info via SNMP. Also, this appears to be a bug in NPM. I pulled the stats via Engineer's Toolkit and the numbers show up properly. My initial thought was that it saw the interface at the wrong connection speed, but everything is reporting correctly with the connection speed. The "current…

There is a tricky case of redundant nodes. For example with new NX-OS devices, a portchannel can span two devices. Both switches would have to be down in order for hosts to be unreachable.

To be clear, this is the format of the URL even when accessing it from a remote machine.

I just set this up on my UCS. As bshopp mentioned, don't use the individual FI IP. I set my unit up with SNMP v3 on Friday and it appears to work fine. SNMP is off by default, so you'll need to go into UCSM to enable it. In case you're interested, the SNMP location doesn't appear to be configurable and that's a bit of a…

This was confirmed as a bug from support. I haven't heard anything about when it may be fixed. Importing and exporting alert actions seems to be pretty broken.
