i applied hotfix 6 for Orion platform. Will monitor this next week and see if all going well. Also found few long running queries related to IPAM after i analysed the logs and stopped them from writing to DB. This also helped in reduction of resource consumption.

There was some problem from Network team itself. They did some changes and post that it started reflecting fine.

did u try with root credentials? If not, i would recommend u try that and if that works then you would have the answer of account having permission issue...

will the alerting work since i need to use 2 custom pollers here... i need to identify the hardware sesnsor name and the value/status of it wherein i will alert based on the status/value... Can anyone assist?

Yeah even i was shocked to see the comment stating ICMP only nodes will not consume license. It has to becoz the structure is built in that way. Elements i can understand as it will work based on what we add to monitoring. Regarding adding as ICMP only its overhead task plus DNS resolvable requirement is another problem.…

2 things i would like you to share if possible.. a. trigger action screenshot. b. if u have created dependencies then please share that as well.. coz if the dependencies are created and still u are getting alert then there is other problem..
