what is the alert scope set on? and on what object are you alerting on? That matters... Or you can create a custom property and assign for the nodes u want to alert on and then create a alert on this...it would resolve your prob...

check in your drives available and in any case if its gone under hidden files/folders. You can also check the application from the Start menu...

are u polling those swithces from multiple sources? Have u tried disabling SNMP and see the outcome?

U can send the traps to Solarwinds server definitely and see whether thats giving useful information.. then u can create an alert out of it using the Orion Log Viewer Module... If u intend to poll the OID from the MIB then u need to send to support with details and they will help in getting it part of the MIB....

have you checked the port connectivity for 5989/59888 and 443? Sometimes due to port issue you will keep getting cred test as failed...

HI, I think in the recipient email address option, you want be able to enter any variable but can pass your parameters in the message field and the alert name and description. Regards Pratik

you have mentioned that u added the server using ICMP, if these are windows servers then u need to select the appropriate option of agent and use the creds to deploy it. Manager Agents option will not list any details until you have added the device using agent based method...
