HI Richard, By integration to solarwinds u mean, receiving traps from Airwave platform to Solarwinds?
-
@"aLTeReGo" But i have seen ppl mentioning that this option doesnt work.. can u give some examples of how it can be made use of? We are also trying to see if this method can help in sending alert to ticketing system...
-
any possibility of getting this in future releases?
-
please move it off from OS drive....
-
this is sad to hear... this is definitely needed and must for a enterprise product...
-
Thanks...

one question on the Linux agent metrics.. so in the newer version, the volumes like physical, virtual memory will again be available separately? and if we dont need to use this we can uncheck and still get the memory utilization??
-
aLTeReGo Is this applicable to all Orion Platform version or only the latest one's? And does this also hold good for other ways of integrations apart from the default connector taken from SNOW app store?

I had come across similar situation with lot switches... What I came to know is that NPM doesn't forget the last reference and hence it keeps the entry...so the old interfaces also shows up in the device. I was also told that only way is to make changes at device end which will not allow old entries to re-surface., and If…

I have some questions w.r.t to the steps required to migrate the setup from old server to new server with new hostname and IP. This includes both Solarwinds main poller and DB server. 1. First i would have to make new servers ready and install the Solarwinds application and DB on respective VMs. Config wizard will not be…

Thanks a ton for sharing this...
-
Can we have some working examples as most of the ppl are stating that action doesn't help.
-
one example i had recently was... it was giving notification for job queued related to MSMQ directory and asking for cleaning it.. but when i check the folder, i did not find any issue...
-
But it doesnt have complete support yet... specially on the hardware level...
-
great share! Thank you for this...
-
would be very handy... we had a task very long back for modifying interface names as it was having certain special characters... If bulk update is available, it would make the task easier and saves lot of time...
-
bump x 10... please have these under complete support... even via traps its difficult to monitor the hardware of these devices as information is not available with clarity....
-
rschroeder take a look at this... Why old interfaces remain in Orion?
-
on the Interface speed changes, to take effect in Solarwinds, we need to rediscover or List resources right?
-
recently i just came across that SAM has been launched with new licensing type.. it will be now node based and from the webinar it looked that its being launched for less number too like 5,10 etc.... But the pricing part looks very high....when its out we will get to know.. I would still like to see the Dev/Test licenses…
-
Thanks for the note...
-
yes what you are stating is correct, but there are certain use cases where device count is very less and if there is provision to buy dev/test licenses which can offer limited features then it will serve the purpose and it will be a win-win situation for both Solarwinds and the company buying it. We have many customers…

aLTeReGo No m not using HA... In that case, will below steps be fine? 1. Restore the old DB to new DB... keep the old db also in tact till evrything is working fine on new one. 2. install Solarwinds on new VM without running config wizard 3. deactivate licenses on old setup and save it 4. then run the config wizard on new…
