I dont see this option.. i had added as individual host itself first.. then i added the vcenter and i see everythiing is changed to Vcenter Polling.... In the VMware settings, i dont see option to change to ESX polling... any clue?

yes i do see that option.. and i have Node based licensing so i m not really bothered about license.. but just that if option was to use only what we need, then it becomes more easier...

Shutting down the services is a better option...in anycase there is an upgrade activity which means u need not worry about the data collection of that duration. Once the activity is over, services can be restarted and verify if all working as expected....

Hi, Its not a SQL cluster node. Its windows level cluster. The shared drive as per the windows team will be available always on 1 node only..like i said we are already monitoring members separately... I missed to ask one point.. Once i am ready with Primary setup with hotfixes, i will download the installer from console or portal and follow the steps. But do i need to separately apply the hotfix on the pool member(in this case its my backup server for primary) before i add them to the pool?
