Yes it is the same idea as I suggested in my feature request, I just suggested doing it for most of the major UPS OEM's. The main difference is the root OID in the MIB's. Some implement things a little differently, however most of the MIBs return the same info for the same MIB with just that OEM part of the MIB changing…

The walks are really kind of not needed if you are just duplicating the APC app, the only real change is the core OID as I mentioned above and in my other posting of Feature Request in NPM. If you look at the MIBS, they are identical for the various OEMs...well almost. I did find one difference from the PPC vs APC MIN's,…

As I thought about this over the weekend, it seems making the widget a "UPS Power Control Unit Status" widget that has a pull-down menu option that allows you to select the correct OEM/OIDroot for that UPS would be the easiest user interface.

I have recently put in a feature request asking for a similar thing, based upon the APC SAM app that is referenced above. However it is currently only for APC, when it should be fairly easy to allow a pulldown selection of the UPS OEM that would essentially change the root OID/MIB and MIB calls related to each gauge or…

I believe it is somewhat a simplistic approach that I am suggesting that wouldn't require too much coding effort to make it happen. However, I didn't write the code and do not have access to it either. Nevertheless, I should think you could: Create a sub routine that allows the user to choose which OEM/OID they need for…

So did you get all the line cards and or interfaces monitored? If so what is the method you used? Thanks!

Is this new? If not, then.... Where is the link to the calendar, within the site? It should be very obvious on every Virtual Classroom page, or at very least the VC homepage. I have not seen it available on any page I have visited. It would seem that the the point is to make it easier to identify courses that fall on the…

Well though that may be a start in the right direction, it does not appear that there is a link to it on the virtual classroom page, like for a calendar view click here! Also, the listing in the calendar are for other things than just the virtual classes, which would be fine, if they gave a more complete info window on…

Wow that stinks and I hope I do not get that response. I am fairly new to the admin side of SolarWinds and I would expect much better support from a company of this size and maturity. The other weird part is this is only for me, for the other analysts they can still see them all in the Legacy view, so it is seems it is…

So highlighted in Blue is/was the answer to my issue. I went in and added a couple of items by checking the appropriate boxes. And my items all reappeared.
