  • How about just deploy another AWS, then you have another Web server to serve login with full AWS function (no matter the primary AWS is up/down). Value for money! [compare to AWS HA,(if we have it), we just wait for the primary AWS to fail, letting AWS HA sitting there do nothing, but busy doing synchronization only. ]

  • if you have SAM, then use SAM to monitor the service and bring it UP once SAM detect it is down. But suggest you also open a case with SolarWinds support to check why the NTA service is down at random.

  • MPE is doing all the alerts. APE is just do polling data and metrics. Suggest to shut down(or reboot, or restart SolarWinds Services) for both MPE+APE. share your update here again. Gd Luck!

  • I got the same Error when I was installing a AWS (Additional Web Server). Follow the instructions on the Main Orion Server (running NPM and other modules) to locate the Row, delete the row in the Database (actually the row dated is more than 2 months ago). then continue to run config Wizard on the AWS.
