Juniper works the same. MX104 routers shows a routing instance per SNMP context.

I'm in for flexibility... Should be all checked by default, but would be useful for local admins to investigate a single issue...

If I understand properly, you want to se which UnDP polls are assigned for a given node? If so, on your Node Details Page, you can add a Custom Chart Table, with the node as data source and with the following columns: * Custom Poller/MIB * Custom Poller/Description * Custom Poller/OID * Custom Poller/Group Name * Custom…

I wish this could send a trap to our national NOC instead of relying on email.

It's past midnight here! Where it is ?

This would change the icons for all users, not just the colorblind one... It would be nice if this could be specified at user level...

RC came back in my portal. Now RC3...

Pretty much all info that is in the Monitor section of the ISE interface. Plus an indication on the number of client, load, who's in who's not, and any other indicator that could give me a snapshot of the whole impact ISE has on my network..

Glad to see i'm not the only one thinking this is mandatory in a slick GUI Wanna vote so this get the PM's attention?

That would be nice if a copy could be made to a long-term reporting and history database... Currently, we have a maintenance task that export data and archive it but it's a pain to manage and work with...

aLTeReGo: Can you let us know in which agent version this has been fixed? This would address my initial request behind this feature request: That being said, knowing the expected behavior is to deploy only if QOE or Netpath is configured, is there way to prevent either the WinPcap install or the activation of those 2…

Well, i would say that if you were to only validate, it's best practice. Having a SOT automagically filled with data defeats the purpose. In an ideal world, SOT data goes from the original system (i.e. Netbox) to the ones around (SolarWinds, puppet, chef, etc...) not the other way. In other words, SOT should contain…

I suggest you contact thwackstore@solarwinds.com for more product info! :)

Distributed rules would be a plus! Pre-tagging messages, or filtering as you suggested would decrease workload on the LA server!

That's a great use case for Netpath www.solarwinds.com/.../netpath

Not having Release Notes with the DB is bugging me sometimes... There's no way to make sure that all devices you have in your environment will be taken care of. Usually you realize, when it's too late, that a MIB file disappeared in DB or a newer version of a MIB got uploaded...
-
What about using ORION_SERVER.FQDN/.../update for MIB deployment, the same way it's done for upgrades? The mechanism is already in place, would simply need a tweak :)

I'm sure that wanine39 would know what i'm talking about

until this feature request is implemented, you can use the following script: thwack.solarwinds.com/.../mib-database-distributor-and-checker

rob.hock, if you need more info, please let me know

Indeed, it works great in Network Atlas, but the WorldMap feature does not allow groups to be added... Only multiple nodes at the same location, but they have to be selected manually and are not updated automatically.

They'll sell you a full version at a ridiculous price for a lab, but still charge you full Maintenance Fee every year... Poisonous gift!

I'm glad i'm not the only one who suggested that... Make sure your vote is counted there too: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3271

I was heading to sleep, but I thought I could tease you with that. I'll try to be more detailed in the next few days * http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3108 * http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3107 * http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3104 * http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3116 *…

a release note for the MIB package would be great, to see if we really need to download and update the MIB file.

Virtual Host Status alert condition are covered in many ways:

Could it be ran on a Raspberry Pi running Windows 10 IOT? or even a Raspbian device using Mono? It would be awesome to use this cheap device. Gaining visibility on GPIO contacts would be a great plus as I would be able to get door contacts and all that good stuff into SolarWinds directly...

I was under this impression, but the only thing we found was that traps for nodes that are not in the inventory can be viewed (or not) by modifying a config file. Unmanaging a device for a maintenance so alerts are not triggered is one thing. But not seing traps or syslog during your maintenance is a pain and can be risky.

Will it be recorded for later review? I will not be able to attend the webinar at said time...
