This feature made it to 11.5RC Thanks everyone for your vote!

Ability for Orion to read the MX records of our domain would be nice. There would be then no need to reconfigure anything, just the DNS records...
-
if you were to not populate SNMP communities or WMI Credentials, wouldnt that be the same?
-
To add MIBs to the database, please refer to: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/Add-MIBs-to-the-SolarWinds-MIB-database?language=en_US

I hear ya! That's because of our Juniper inventory that I had to build a script to cleanup inventory (see above). I wish this would be embedded!

To me this is not suitable for my clients. I cannot have a site-to-site VPN with all clients, nor I can deploy a remote poller to each and every SMB (too expensive $$$). I would need a "poll concentrator" that would send data over SSL to a centralized server. Too few of my clients have an on site server to do the hybrid…

I have the same definition in our alert. When it arrives like that, we flag it and manually add the missing External node. That said, I would be tempted to use a SQL CASE statement. Something roughly like: SELECT CASE WHEN (SELECT Caption FROM NodesData Where IP_Address='${N=SwisEntity;M=NeighborIP}') IS NULL THEN 'Unknown…

This is supported: https://support.solarwinds.com/SuccessCenter/s/article/How-to-create-alert-for-EIGRP-neighbor-status-change?language=en_US

for those running older version of PowerShell, replace line #53 of the mitigation script: $orionWebRoot = Get-ItemPropertyValue $orionWebRootKey -Name "Web Root Dir" by: $orionWebRoot = (Get-ItemPropertyValue $orionWebRootKey)."Web Root Dir" Also, may I suggest that a check condition is added prior URL-Rewrite installation…

I was unable to vote using my mobile device (Firefox for Android)... Am I the only one?

Bump!!
-
This is implemented: documentation.solarwinds.com/.../core-setting-custom-status-sw1043.htm
-
For me, it was autocorrect in my brain... I added an extra U to this one... I had it right on paper. It's what happens when english is not your first language! ;)
-
Have you had a look at Solarwinds IpMonitor? Entry-Level Monitoring
-
FYI, the last hyperlink provided is sending me to Solarwinds Exchange Server, I had to cut/paste the address in my browser to make it work...
-
There is the unmanage scheduling as well in NPM
-
If you are talking about MS SQL, there's a procedure to rename a server (unless it's an Express version).

It on the roadmap: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/the-orion-platform/b/news/posts/wwwo

Lots of unknown, and lots of outdated items... Lots of items with typo too...
-
Definitely something we miss from the legacy engines!
-
Should I create a feature request or is it already on your drawing table? Warning is more likely to be a wanted status based on a poll.
-
Same old in 12.01

Currently you can invoke Orion.Nodes.ScheduleListResources and Orion.Nodes.ImportListResourcesResult (as seen at https://github.com/solarwinds/OrionSDK/blob/master/Samples/PowerShell/ImportListResources.ps1) but it does not allow you to pick and choose. It imports whatever was discovered on the device (volumes, interfaces,…

Already installed it without any problem. Love it, but I would have appreciated more WorldMaps ameliorations... Maybe next version? I'll have a personal mission to upgrade our NOC view next week
-
And please make sure the app is available on Blackberry OS10
-
In the meantime, a workaround can be found here: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/the-orion-platform/f/forum/92835/mib-database-distributor-and-checker

Everyone who voted here should have a look to: http://thwack.solarwinds.com/ideas/3013 - Adding title to location would be a big plus to this feature request

The current way to get Hardware Health is thru OMSA... There are reports that OMSA 10.x does not work with Orion, and now OMSA is being deprecated (https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-us/000224826/omsa-eol-landing-page). This definitely needs to be implemented...

You might have to read it to catch it... That's what I had to do
