I have imported this for my AS5300. When I view the Custom Poller I see: Term Servers cpmActiveDS0s 2 au 04:28 PM I assume this means two active calls. Is there anyway for it to show the user names as well? I would like to be able to build a report that shows what users have connected over the past 30 days.

The ability to select multiple IPs at the same time and edit their properies (default and custom) at the same time. Similar to the Node Management functionality where you can select what properties you want to change to apply to all nodes selected.

Does anyone have a copy of this version that they could send to me?

I would like to add our HP UX systems to Orion, but I cannot find the 5.0.9 version of NET-SNMP. The download link to All Versions on www.net-snmp.org goes to the Sourceforge site and I cannot find v5.0.9. They have v5.0.10 is as far back as it goes. Will this work or does it HAVE to be v5.0.9? If so where can I find a…

I am now starting to see garbage pages from my Cisco 7204 router when an interface goes down. Has anyone else seen anything like this or should I open up a ticket with support? SW50ZXJmYWNlIFNlcmlhbDMvMCDCtyBRd2VzdCBEUzMgVlBOL0ludGVybnQgZm9yIG5vZGUg TlRPUkJSMDEgaXMgVXAu

This is the Solarwinds event log on the Orion machine. So not it is not forwarding event logs anywhere, but there are machines that are forwarding its logs to this machine.

I have gotten the Alert Suppression to work, the problem I have is that even though the alerts are suppressed their resets are not. Is this by design?
-
Just ran the report from the website again and I actually get no results yet when I run the SQL query from Report Writer I get 588 records back. I have "Make this Report available from the Orion website" checked.

I am no longer seeing the COM+ errors, however the DB timeouts are still occurring and filling my event logs up. I still have not gotten a call back from support. This problem only started after the upgrade.
-
I upgraded from 7 to 8.0 and then to 8.0.1. The errors started occuring after the upgrade from 7 to 8. However I did uninstall v7 before installing v8. Everything seems to perform ok, but my event logs are flooded with these errors as is the Web interface to Orion. I'd like to get rid of them.

Bump....Anyone?

Even after reboot I found that alerts were not being triggered although the old alert engine was working fine. I checked out those other discussions and found that a reinstall fixed the problem. Today, however I have had the same thing happen AGAIN. I will do the reinstall again, but does any know why this keep happening…

I restarted the server and seem to have the alerts back now. Not sure what happened though.

I have the same question. I don't have any Meraki device so not familiar with the API method you mentioned. We just rolled out a small Viptela deployment with hopes to take it enterprise wide.
-
Have you published this information yet? I am also interested in doing this.

No thoughts from anyone? I can't be the only one who would like to see this feature? Is it on the road map? Scheduled for a future release?

I have this same problem with a router at the branch and an ASA at the main site where Orion sits. I worked with Cisco and never could get it working. Even if I source the netflow from the inside interface of the router it seems the router tries to send the Netflow data out the public interface and not over the tunnel.

Seems I jumped the gun. I found the documentation on how to point to the new poller and al is well now. You can disregard this post. :)

So I got the operation added successfully, however there is another copy of the same thing listed as unknown. I can't get rid of it. Any ideas?

Any takers or should I just open a ticket with support?

I figured this one out. Once I looked at the examples the scripts are pretty simple.

I am looking for the same thing. I have check Source Forge's web site but it looks like v5.0.9 is so old they have pulled the files. I need it for HP-UX.

Bumping this up as I have need to test certain alerts and I cannot do so as even after I have choosen a node all interfaces are displayed not just that nodes interfaces. It is impossible to tell one ethernet inteface from another if there is no description. I thought once you choose a node that the interface list should…

I confirmed with Nortel that this the menu driven interface is the only option. I only have one production device and can't give access to Support to test scripts on it as the level of access necessary is full admin rights.
-
I will check with Nortel to see if this can be disabled. The other problem with my Nortel switches that I have is they require a Ctrl+Y in order to get to a logon prompt. Once logged in it goes to a traditional CLI. There is no way to bypass this Ctrl+Y. The last time I talked to support they were working on this feature.…

Nortel BPS 2000, Baystack 450 (switches that require Ctrl+Y to log on. Cirrus cannot do this currently). Alteon Application switch (menu driven interface). Nortel Contivity (tunnel support is lacking currently)

We really need valid MIBs for Nortel Contivity VPN Router Nortel Alteon Application Switch.

I have Cirrus working with all of our BPS 2000 and our Passport 8600. I would love to get it working with our 450s, but I do not believe it supports menu driven interfaces yet. For the BPS devices I had to enable the CLI mode so when you telnet into the switch and hit Ctrl-Y it drops directly into the command line. To get…
