What if you use dynamic grups based on Custom Properties? That way, your CP would resolve your account limitation issue and your dynamic groups issue.

If I got you right... you only have to select all your nodes monitored by your Main Polling Engine, and change them to your APE. You can do that on the Manage Nodes page.
