Hi Deltona, No feature request is needed...Passing this to Dev for investigation directly, will keep you informed about the progress. Thanks Peter
-
Hi Kurt, team double checked this and Network Atlas doesn't support UDT variables. Could you please create a Feature idea here on a thwack to let others vote for this? Thanks Peter
-
Hi Greg, this is unfortunately caused by Juniper not allowing "write" via SNMP. We are aware of this "bug" and it's resolution - by CLI parsing - is one of our long term goals... Peter
-
Patriot, Have you checked our Admin guide when configuring ? In case yes, please contact our support as this seems rather as something environmental ( didn't see such bug before.) Thanks Peter
-
Hi, we are aware of possible improvements of the right click functionality, however. we are now focused on the development of new tools, which will be directly ported to Web ( and which will be called very similarly...) : e.g. What we are working on with Engineer's Toolset v11.0. Once we have the feedback on the UI and the…

Hi Elliot, the pie-chart shows you all the active and the historically connected endpoints and their vendors. Peter

Could you please upgrade your UDT to 3.0.2? We have fixed some issues in the releases after 3.0 and one of them was about big arp tables not getting into our database. Considering we speak about core 6509 switch, it could easily be the case. Thanks Peter
-
Hi Anas, there are few alerts in UDT which may help - "alert me when a new MAC address appears" and also " alert me when the new vendor connects to the network" ... Otherwise, we don't have a specific out of the box alerts for access ports having multiple MACs ( or over a certain limit...) I hope this helps Peter
-
Could you please explain the use case you are trying to achieve - what is a trigger for you to see this data? I'm not sure about the SQL part but from the UDT orion view, you can't see the devices behind the AP from the endpoint view.. Peter
-
Hi, you are right - we poll event logs and whatever is in your controllers gets polled, so you may want to check what is in there... Sometimes we are being asked why Log Ins resources are showing also data like you are seeing, and usually the answer is: servers (like patching server...) connecting to your machine. Since…

Could you please create a ticket with our support for this? It's the first time I see such bug so I would like to have it properly checked by our Support and Dev team... Thanks Peter
-
Hi Mark, yes, you trully need admin rights in order to manage whitelists. One workaround which I can imagine would be putting UDT on a separate server. Peter
-
Rick, Could you please raise this idea as a feature request for UDT? This way, other users can vote for it and help us prioritizing what will be implemented... Thanks
-
Just FYI: To get these free sensors you should install the latest NPM hotfix 2 available in your customer portal. Peter
-
Helmi, the solution is to assign ports (not just nodes) into the group and then the piechart appears together with the respective % utilization... Peter
-
Hi Helmi, I was able to reproduce this on my machine too so sending to the Engineering team to investigate..Will keep you informed about the progress. Peter
-
Yes, if you remove a node from Network Sonar, then it's also removed from UDT... You can however monitor ports on a device in UDT otherwise unmonitored by NPM. Peter

Hi John, changing data retention settings should do the job for you. Once DB maintanence starts, the older than required records will be deleted automatically so there is no need to do this manually. Peter
-
Hi, there is no such option in UDT right now. If you want, you can submit such feature request and have it implemented if it gets enough votes. Peter
-
Hi, if unable to write the custom SQL report, could you please raise the Feature request for this? We can then consider implementing it even as "out of box" report, but it is all depending on the size of the audience which can take of advantage it... Thanks Peter
-
Thor, UDT still doesn't support the web-reporting so you need to use the old report writer for this. Peter
-
Since not everything is actually moving to Core (only 5 tools for now, the rest remains desktop) we will have actually new seat based licenses for the Web part generated. Orion admin will be responsible of assignment of these seats to the users. Does that answer your question please? Thanks Peter
-
Hi Joe, Did you disabled those rules provided by default which are excluding all IPs/MACs/Hostnames from being considered rogue? That, once you created your custom white-lists should be the first step. Then, if the new MAC alert wasn't created, couldn't it be that it wasn't actually new and already in the database of UDT?…

Does it behave like this in all browsers please? Also, when running tools from the drop-down menu right next to the node name - do they run properly? Thanks Peter
-
Keegen, could you please create a ticket with our support so we can follow up this issue - gather SNMP walks/diags etc..? While we currently don't support Huawei devices, every diag. will help with the future support. Thanks! Peter
-
What document/message are you please referring to? Thanks Peter
-
Hi Peter, yes, UDT supports logging in by AD credentials. You can choose a type of an acount (individual AD or AD Group account) when creating a new account in Settings -> Accounts... I hope this helps Peter
-
Could you please contact our support regarding this issue? Thanks Peter
-
Complete un-install is not needed. Did you try to close the service-tray integration first, wait a bit and then start the install?
-
Hi, currently there is no such contextual resource possibility. Could you please raise the feature request for this Idea? Thanks Peter
